Coming from a guy who maxed out all my weapons and armor to the best possible and played my fair share of hours in the beta... DO NOT F***ING CARRY ANYTHING OVER! NOTHING!! Damn man people stop complaining. This beta was a gift! Stop being greedy! No one told you to spend so much time (when it was obvious that it wouldn't carry over) on this beta! You were supposed to get a taste and come back hungry for more! BUNGIE DOESNT OWE US ANYTHING!
Besides, the beta was on an accelerated xp system

Bungie doesnt owe us? Its not like its a burden for them to transfer it. All our characters are still saved in the servers, you can see your inventory from the beta still. It's probably more work for them to reset all the data.

They NEVER said it wasn't going to transfer, also if a majority rules in favor of keeping progress, THEY SHOULD KEEP PROGRESS. Simple as that, if not, why post on forums if they just blow us off?

I'd say 99% of betas don't carry over. Stop being an entitled prick. You're probably one of those people who threatens "I'm going to cancel my pre-order because it's your fault I spent 70 hours on a beta"

Dude, I pre-ordered this game in July of last year, something as small as this won't make me cancel my pre-order. All I'm saying is 1. They never said it wasn't 2. They should listen to our opinions, and try to make the majority happy. 3. No need to call me a prick. I'm not going on ranting about this and cussing and shit. Woops.

Have you not seen what appealing to the masses did to World of Warcraft raiding, Call of Duty, Battlefield, and even some of the Halos? There is a reason developers go against the majority on certain things, and that is to preserve the integrity of the game. If the majority got their way, we might as well enable god mode, nerf all weapons, make supers infinite, allow unlimited grenades, unlimited heavy ammo, and many other things. Do you really trust the masses to decide how to game will be ran, especially when looking back at other games that attempted to cater to the majority and ended up ruining their game.

Listening to our opinions is a great feedback tool for "them" but trying to make the majority happy is a poor reason to implement changes - they are better served to stay within scope and produce they game they focused on making. 3. Agreed. There is no reason to disparage anyone because of a disagreement of opinion.
