Characters ARE being wiped. Bungie have stated this.

I would assume if it were yes, they would have said so by now, but they're waiting to say no until the last minute. Perhaps they plan to release some information at the same time, probably close to launch, to increase hype much more than the slight negative effect saying no will cause.

It's only 8 levels that was only the beta it only took 2 hours took to get that level imagine what you can do in the full game with no restrictions and all the area you'll be able to explore more and I'm Sure when the game come out everyone will stop complaining about this character transfer

You know they already wiped the beta characters, gear, vault stuff, and basically everything. If you don't believe me then look at the the weekly update Aug. 7th.

9 RespuestasRESET! I think we can all agree getting to level 8 in the beta was not difficult at all, there is absolutely no reason why our progress should carry. I say everyone stop bitching and we all start at level 1, on an even playing field

The beta was never intended to carry over to begin with. Neither was the alpha. Expectation is the gateway to disappointment.

1 RespuestaNo progress should be transferred... I've spent hours of grinding and i've spent glimmer on useless stuff just because i knew it was a beta and my friends didn't play the beta because they played the alpha.
