Saying "you aren't special" and "Bungie doesn't owe you anything" is saying yeah I'll pay 60 bucks so you don't give me anything I ask for... The community as a whole will decide not one opinion alone.

On top of that if we as individuals aren't special then why are we picking up destiny?... For a false idea that we are... Or because we make the game bigger than it could ever be without us. Watch what you say about your fellow man because every individual is special(some more specially challenged than others).
-
No, you deserve what you paid $60 for, the game. Thats what a game costs as a consumer, and so, for the cost of the game, you get the game. I know its a strange concept, but you will get it eventually.
-
Your missing the point... But I think your trolling so I won't oblige you with a longer response.
-
Nope, not trolling, just sick of the entitlement I find in our society. I stand by my statement, you deserve what you paid for. You paid for the game, not the beta.
-
Well they gave us one ;-) so that ideal lost. Also betas are a way for people to get a taste of the game before it is even finished. Some may like it and some may not but the point I'd to give the gamer a sense of what the game will ultimately be when they purchase the full title... Your honestly IMO just trying to be anti free stuff for consumers that ultimately are going to come out in bulk to buy a game everyone is on edge to buy.
-
I'm not anti-free stuff. I'm anti-"give me more free stuff than you already gave me because its not enough" millenial entitlement attitude. Why dont you wait for the game to come out before you demand more than what you paid for, except that if you played the beta you already got more than you paid for, but you don't seem to get that point so there is really no point in bothering to try to explain it to you. Have fun bro, I hope you get everything you want out of this game.
-
Im satisfied with the beta... I need nothing else but the real game - the lag/net code problem and a few others including the underpowered pulse rifle problem.
-
I didn't spend a dime for the beta test, I got it as a gift from them
-
It was a demo... For you to buy the original game... You are going to buy the game and I am as well I'm assuming. We deserve a taste... Demos are a standard that was set long ago...
-
Demos died off though. This was a beta not a demo
-
Demo = early Demonstration Beta = early Demonstration All betas are demos; however, not all demos are betas.
-
I get to keep my betas? Never heard of a beta being released after a games out "call of duty" "multiple sports games" "a lot more"
-
You're misinterpreting what "Demo" means. It doesn't mean you get to keep it. Some demos, yes, you download to your console and you have it forever. Demo means demonstration, though. A beta is a demonstration that they use to generate feedback and more interest, however they also have to take it offline to implement any changes they need to. It's still a demo.
-
Demo means demonstration as in "this how you do it, your turn"
-
Well most demos are showing a beta version of the game... Unfinished versions of a game to be released. I've seen and many have seen that in the past . Now its just now things get more technical in the naming of what is essentially the same thing...
-
Even if demos are frequently beta versions of products, that does not mean you "deserve" a taste.
-
I agree with you... We also shouldn't be able to play the game after purchasing it because we as the consumer don't "deserve" anything. If I could I'd pay sixty, some odd dollars for a game I only looked at but hadn't touched(-_-). This mentality that the consumer doesn't "deserve" anything is dying off.
-
Just to clarify, I believe in demos. I do not believe companies owe everyone the right to be in betas, especially when we start strictly talking about software or video games. I have to board a flight I can/will try to add more later if you still want to discuss it. It may not appear so but I am all about consumer advocacy.
