Would you be willing to sign documents that would endorse and help promote the KKK or Neo--godwinslaw!-? I know I wouldn't. I don't see a problem with this.

I don't see why not. I may not agree with their beliefs or values, but the beauty of the US is that they have the right to organize and say what they want. I wont stand in their way of notarizing legal documents. If they have all the proper paperwork and identification, that's all I need. Doesn't matter what it's for.

Because I'd like to not promote racism and violent discrimination, which is what those groups stand for. While personally, I couldn't care less about the laws when it comes to matters of principle, taking part in such a thing could create a legal mess.

Except you're not participating, you're just handling their paperwork.
handling their paperwork.
How is that not being involved?
-
I mean "involved" as in you're not donating your time or money to their cause. You're just handling their paperwork.
-
You're still taking involvement with them. Legally you should be fine unless your life is like an action-thriller movie, but morally that's completely understandable, and that's all that really matters.
-
Is anyone who handles their paperwork considered involved? Is the postman involved because he delivered them a letter?
