bit paranoid maybe, but properly paranoid would be carrying round an assault rifle. Why anyone would want to keep them around when it's much easier to carry round pistols, I don't know.

If you are in the country, having a rifle in your vehicle can save you life. Say you break down on a back road, you have no cell reception. No one knows you are out there. If you have a rifle of some sort you could at least have a way of taking small game to stay alive. If I lived in a state that allowed it, a rifle or shotgun would be part of my survival kit.

You haven't moved yet? Sheesh... - Der

you wanna buy me a tank of fuel, and pay my rent for a month while I look for a job?
-
Not all the time, especially when there aren't many places nearby with dangerous wildlife. Plus most deaths from wildlife tend to be livestock related. But I do see where you're coming from
-
Rifles have their place, carrying one isn't at all being paranoid.
-
small dick methinks. Carrying one apart from using it for hunting just makes people look like they want a bigger status.
-
It's for better accuracy and range, and they hold larger magazines to deal with more foes.
-
Ill just stick to my pistol. People who open carry a Rifle just seems to want attention on them. Yes its cool that you can do it, but I dont want glarring eyes. Plus, I cant open carry in Texas.
-
fair enough. I think that people shouldn't have the right to carry any guns that require two hands to control it (assault rifles, shotguns, etc).
-
1. To properly use a handgun you need 2 hands. 2. Why shouldn't people carry 2-handed weapons?
-
False, sideways glock all day niqqa

1. Fair enough, but larger weapons kinda need two hands to be accurate at any long distance 2. Two handed as being assault rifles etc? It's overkill part from for hunting wild animals or military forces. I don't know about you, but I would be intimidated enough by someone 3-4 feet away from me with a pistol.
