Haha. Nobody can come close to producing quality first party games like Nintendo. Honestly, if they made a high end console there would be no war. Only Nintendo.

Editado por Nick: 6/18/2013 4:06:44 AMNintendo should just drop out of the console war and go multi-platform.
-
They would be raking in the cash if they did that. It's the way they should go.
-
no, they shouldn't, you're just mad that you can't afford the awesomeness of the Wii U and all the god tier exclusives.
-
Lol, I could go buy a Wii U right now. I just don't want to because it's stupid.
-
lolk, sounds just like the kids back at the arcade who sucked at a game, calling it stupid just because you're bad at nintendo games.
-
Of course I'm bad at nintendo Games considering I haven't played one since SSBB. Beside Nintendo would make even more money if they went multi-platform.
-
no, they wouldn't, too many "gamers" hate the games that nintendo make because they have no gore and that they aren't hardcore, so Nintendo makes more money by bringing the nintendo fans to their console and getting them to spend mmoney on the console along with the games.
-
I disagree.
-
well that sucks, because it's true.
-
I disagree with that, too. Not only would they make money off their new games but off of their old one, too. You can't tell me that OoT or Super Mario 64 wouldn't sell on PSN and XBLA.
-
they would, but they also sell like hotcakes in the viirtual console, and which makes more sense selling just $60 games, or selling $60 games along with a $300 console to every customer?
-
What if they only went multi-platform with previous generations? Like, Wii U games would be available for PS5 and the Next NeXtBox. They'd make even MORE money and everyone would be happy.
-
How would they make more money? By that same logic MS shouldn't make a new Xbox and just go multiplatform on their games, it makes no sense. They are making loads already and when the games come out Wii Us will be dominating in sales.
-
Lol, no.
-
Why not? Care to explain why you don't think that will be the case?
-
I guess, they just don't see potential in going multiplat because that gets rid of the whole concept nintendo goes for which is that they make what they want,, and if you don't like what they do then you just don't do business, that's their policy.
-
I know I am. I do kind of wish that they'd take a page from Sega's book though and just make IPs for other companies.
-
Why? They won last gen and they remain the only company that can say they have been around since the beginning of the home console era of video games. If Nintendo would have made a more powerful console they'd be taking in millions right now because Sony and Microsoft left themselves wide open for consumer complaints.
-
Yeah, last gen. Even with all the hate that the X1 is getting they'll still outsell the Wii U.
-
My point is Nintendo won't drop out of the console race anytime soon. They also dominate the handheld genre with the 3DS. Even if the Wii U struggles, there will still be millions of people who will drop the $200-$250 for Smash Bros, Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. I'm guessing the Wii U will have a price cut this holiday season to make it more appealing compared to the PS4 and Xbox one.
-
I actually doubt that. Wii U isn't selling now because there are no games to play for it, that much is obvious, it's also obvious that software sells hardware. Do you think they are crying and shitting themselves because MS and Sony have the attention? No, they are at their own level, doing fine, and when it comes down to it, Q3 2013 - Q1 2014 Wii U's sales will skyrocket, when all the games are out and people want to play them and the Wii U is cheaper than the competition. Hell, third party games are indeed coming out on Wii U and it's hardware runs it fine, the Gamepad adds features to games and it has Remote Play, out of the box, at a cheaper price than just the other 2 consoles. You want a Nintendo game? Buy a Nintendo console.
-
It's just a personal wish of mine. I don't own any Nintendo systems anymore, but at the core, I'm still very much a Nintendo fanboy and would love to be able to play their games on other platforms (for various reasons that I don't feel like explaining). I think that Nintendo would do great if they ever decided to drop out of the console market. Hell, I bet they'd do better than Sega.
-
That is certain but they aren't trying to compete with Sega, they don't need to. They are Hardware developers and make good hardware. They have dominated the console market for decades, they have no reason to stop now. They are doing better than Sega, they have best selling consoles.
