, internet isn't widespread yet and we won't be in a digital world any time soon.
LOL.
English
-
A world in which we only use digital services, don't use Cash at all, have Fiber internet all over the world available and cheap (or free), to justify having these things in place? No, we are nowhere near that.
-
The US is actually on the low end compared to the rest of the world and Internet connectivity.
-
Internet IS widespread. A ton of our world is digital right now.
-
A ton of the first world. And we're talking 78% in the United States, which is including poor internet connections. Other areas of the first world have data caps. So your point is moot.
-
yes a ton of the first world. Do you think some poor african child is going to buy a new console right now? no, so it doesn't matter if they have internet or not.
-
Because the less fortunate countries are just in Africa? Microsoft has eliminated millions of potential costumers. And like I said, there are people who have to pay by units of data and have caps. Not every country has unlimited data access like the US does.
-
They were never potential costumers if they didn't have internet.
-
A potential customer is someone with money. It doesn't have to be a certain demographic.
-
People with no internet, most likely don't have an interest in the new xbox. What don't you get. You think some dude in alaska that hasn't bothered to have internet, wants the new xbox?
-
Internet is pretty widespread in Alaska actually. Even the most north city has Internet.
-
People with no internet, most likely don't have an interest in the new xbox. What don't you get.
I take it you work for Abercrombie&Fitch?
-
Actually worked there during my senior year in highschool
-
Wow... that explains so much.
-
What u mean?
-
People with no internet, most likely don't have an interest in the new xbox. What don't you get.
If that were true then you wouldn't as many complaints as there's been.
You think some dude in alaska that hasn't bothered to have internet, wants the new xbox?
Yes. Same reason a guy in Afghanistan who didn't bother to get internet plays his 360. Same reason a less fortunate parent who wanted to get something for their kid gave him a 360. Same reason a college student without internet wanted to pass by the time with a console.
-
Nowhere near warranting an only online system.
-
Whatever you say brother. Either way, I'm not a poor bastard. So I invest in good internet, so I'm fine.
-
Dude money has nothing to do with it. What if I told you not even 10 miles away from me getting a internet connecting is impossible. The infrastructure doesnt extend that far out at all. MS is making this big push for online connectivity and the world isnt ready for it at all. They are 2-3 console generations ahead of the actual world here.
-
Then 10 miles away from you, isn't microsofts target market. They can get a PS4. It really doesn't matter. Most people play online now a days.
-
Most people play online now a days.
This has got to be by far the most pathetic argument in favor of the Xbox One. Because "most" people are online when they play games, we should suddenly make that mandatory? In the same way, "most" people who play on Xbox also have TV (although I'm not one of them) so, should we make a cable TV subscription mandatory to play Xbox? "Most" Xbox players also tend to be young white boys who have wealthy parents. By your logic, we shouldn't allow people of non-white races and older individuals and women to play the console.
-
"Most" Xbox players also tend to be young white boys who have wealthy parents.
Citation Needed. On the contrary, I know more minorities with xbox's rather than Playstations.
-
Most of my Hispanic friends have a Xbox while most of my black friends have a PS3. Not sure why. I'd say that minorities on both consoles are pretty even though.
-
Theres an article talking about how 65% of the total time being played on a 360 was online
-
Lol Joe, you just went full retard.
-
Just applying Fantasy Football's fail logic to a broader set of scenarios.
