What is wrong with you people?[/quote] Sorry but we shouldn't be requiring to play the wheel of rng for a chance at maybe getting a piece of essence when the thing requires way too many just to get one exotic, on top of the catalyst requiring more which is clearly absurdly overkill Majority of players would be halfway through Final Shape before most get their Necrochasm (minus catalyst). Bungie needs to tone down the amount required, period.

You're making quite the assumption on the amount of time required even though it's not even been a week. I've got whole 2 raid clears and 6 oversoul essence. I'm over 25% done and I'm not even grinding

Friend of mine got 3 clears rn + farmed crota for 3h, dude still has 3/20. I've ran ir yut for about 6 soon and have 3/20. It is literally the same issue as just farming the gun normally, but x20. Your'e huffing copium because you got lucky on a drop chance.

You can actually farm it without needing reset. If you were smart about it you'd try doing triumphs, at least the easy ones. You people cease to amaze me with your stupidity

I'm over 25% done and I'm not even grinding[/quote] Doesn't matter how long it takes, the fact remains that we are timegated by rng (triumphs awarding essence however helps with reducing it) By the time any normal person gets theirs done it'll be a while and we'll have something else to chase

Compared to the Alternative which is... "59 runs and I still don't have it" To me, this is tangible. It's there with progress yah can see. I don't understand why people expect an immediate Raid Exotic... yah know the Pinnacle item behind the activity.

Not really. You can farm Ir yut, which is a sub 10 minute run (3-5 minute average if you get the rhythm right). There is no need to do 100 full clears when there are faster methods. This is easier to grind out than other raids that are not included in the weekly rotator.

6h of ir yut has got me still having 3/20. Enjoy your necrochasm grind x20.

Most of the 35 needed will drop by just playing normally. I also noticed that having the eidolon ally equipped helps. Could be superstition but i'm at 13/20 by just clearing the raid 6 times.

A clear time like that and that number of clears is going to be next to impossible for most LFGs. Especially given the random nature of the drop which means even if you do get a good team you’re going to be spending time cycling people in and out as people progress and or complete at different rates which will dramatically affect your clear rate as the new group gets accommodated There are reports of some peoples drop rates being so low it could take upward of 200 clears

The optimal clear times is about 1 minute. But i see your point. The clear times do shift but usually most people should be using the same loadouts so the time to clear should not be too much off while swaping teammates. There might be a chance that having the eidolon ally equipped raises the drop rate. IDK if this is headcannon or not but so far i have gotten 13/35 needed for necro by beating the raid normally with the weapon equipped.
