As most have already said, the grind for this gun is just too much. Getting 20 oversouls is already a pain but then you need a extra 15 for a catalyst that's lackluster? Come on. I know there are triumphs. and honestly some of the triumphs aren't too bad to deal with. However im not gonna go out of my way to get all of them just to get 1 oversoul each (14 max if you do all triumphs i think). Btw husk and Eidolon Ally dont shoot there green bullets and have audio issues.
Edit: mfs are really butt hurt for wanting the grind to be bearable lmao. Nobody said anything about asking for handouts either. Your still Doing the same raid encounters 20+ times and that's after already completing the raid. This game should be FUN not another job/to do list. But i guess there are people who like the Job/to do list portion.

14 RespuestasIt hasn't even been 5 days and people are already complaining about this? What is wrong with you people?
-
I've had 4 drop so far so gonna be long time before I get it
-
4 RespuestasThb it should be guaranteed drop for each encounter once per character. Its necrochasm a 10 years old exotic. Doesn't worth the progress its asking atm.
-
first they take a good approach to replace random drops with quest again (like for Divinity, which I loved), and then they ruin it by making the progress rng.....
-
9 RespuestasSo me and my buddies did a bunch of farming to see what the numbers were and they’re pretty consistent to getting a drop every 3.33% which is one out of every 30 encounters or two drops for every 15 full raids. I also talked to at least 10 people who had had hit the 30 encounter Mark weather through full clears or farming and the number seem to be consistent. That is absolutely abysmal.
-
A ridiculous amount of grind… this needs reducing by a huge amount … 10 for gun and catalyst would be fair
-
Bump this needs to be
-
5 RespuestasI agree that the RNG aspect is stupid AF. 20 but not guaranteed is very dumb. I’ve done 2 3/4 Crotas (just didn’t get warlock beat him) but only got 3 total. What’s my incentive for a 9 year old exotic to STILL be RNG based. Should’ve just made it a strict RNG like usual (so I could be stuck doing 62 runs to finally get it like my 1K)
-
9 RespuestasThere's no way they won't address this. I completed the raid twice and tried farming the Abyss a few times afterward, all 3/20 I have were from my first run. During the Abyss runs, only 2 people got one from the 5 or so runs we had time for. The chances feel comparable to getting a raid exotic, and we need 20 of these things for the gun? I don't mind a grind, but this is excessive, no other gun has had one like this. Why is it even a quest when the chances of getting the guaranteed exotic may as well be lower than if it was just a random weapon?
-
I'm more annoyed that the catalyst just gives the gun Outlaw. The gun already has 76 reload at base. Feels like a MIDA catalyst situation all over again.
-
8 boss clears 1 essence, wow what a grind. Most dont even have catalyst yet.
-
I would rather be able to grind for them than have to do a raid 100 times before I got the exotic to drop.
-
Bump ^ the drop rate is most likely bugged right now cuz the drop rate is -blam!- at the moment and if it isn’t bugged Bungie need to make it guaranteed to drop from every encounter across all chars for all looted clears, And they should also increase the drop rate for non looted clears and make it easier to farm cuz not everyone have the time to play 3 hours + of Destiny 2 everyday cuz of work and school and it’s stupid when you have to farm a heavily rng resource with abysmal drop rate.

7 RespuestasEditado por TheShadow: 9/5/2023 1:51:12 PMYou know what, if this weapon is the only thing worth grinding for out of this raid that a lot of you are stressing about then it's not worth the time IMO. You guys are asking for it to be handed out and that's the problem with this game. Ask before just assuming what I meant about that last part if any of you don't understand, making things up doesn't fly. Oh, and once you get it what else is there to give players the incentive to want to run an old raid? I have everything they brought over to D2 so I see no point running this raid or any of the D1 raids in D2 when the D2 raids offer a lot less than what was offered in D1. Not to mention a few of the weapons worked across the entire board and I wasn't controlled on what to use. I played how I wanted to, not how this business wanted me to as they do today which made it worth the time back then running all the raids in D1 vs D2 raids. I can run D1 Crota and get the same results as far as time spent, but with better-designed gear, weapons, and the weekly challenge that made it worth the time spent. It's designed how it was meant to be because they have nothing to offer, and they need to show numbers. Get used to it because this is how it's been for 4 years now.
-
I’m just going to run it every week to get my pinnacle. I know I will get it eventually.
-
3 RespuestasYou don't need everything in the game asap. It's you that play the game like It's a job because you want everything right now, no one is forcing you too. The raid not going anywhere, so you have plenty of time to get the amount needed.
-
I have the gun. Not even worried about the catalyst. If it happens cool.

1 RespuestaSome ppl really need the exotics in the postmaster when they start the season. Its probalbly still too much to ask for some to walk to the postmaster. Losers

32 RespuestasEditado por JD: 9/5/2023 4:49:10 AMNo. Everyone wants everything without doing anything.

37 RespuestasIf you can't be bothered to do the triumphs and challenges, then why do you think you should get the gun?
-
40 RespuestasThis...... This is what is wrong with Destiny. The game has so much potential but because of cry baby casuals the game is soft. This is why Exotics aren't random drops anymore because people in forsaken go so mad they weren't getting Lord of Wolves. Its called grinding. I have a family, full time job, a baby, and a social life. Its called time management. I have everything in the game and I'm a top 1-2 percent in raids. Its not that hard you just suck at the game lol.
-
19 RespuestasIt's a raid Exotic, it should require grinding to get it If you can't get them Essences consistently then you don't deserve the weapon to begin with God, you casuals have lost common sense
-
Lmao, 20 total for an underwhelming gun and then another 15 for an underwhelming catalyst. Just use sunshot, chain explosions and 75% extra yellow bar damage? It’s not even a comparison.

2 RespuestasEditado por YeahItsTAC: 9/6/2023 10:41:29 PMPersonally, I am getting them at a reasonable rate. I already have Necro from contest, but at the rate I personally am getting them, I would be on track to get the exotic way before I have gotten any other raid/dungeon exotic. Though I understand that isn’t everyone’s experience. People also forget that the Essence is farmable and some of the triumphs drop them (I know you already mentioned triumphs). You cannot farm the exotics for other raids (aside from weekly featured) and the triumphs that increase drop chance don’t immediately progress you to getting the exotic. Crota triumphs are guaranteed progression. From the way I see it, it is beneficial to those who put more time into the raid and less for those who don’t. If you actively do full runs on multiple characters and do triumphs (and maybe even farm too), you are guaranteed to get it in a reasonable amount of clears. If you do a single Crota checkpoint a week, it may take longer since you can’t just get lucky and have it drop week 2. People wanted it so where you weren’t doing 50+ clears with no exotic. That was fixed. They wanted it so where you would have the exotic by the time you got the seal. That was fixed. And some also wanted it so where full clears would be incentivized for the exotic more than just checkpoints. That was fixed. TLDR: It helps people who go 50+ clears with no exotic and who invest in the raid but hurts people who get lucky within a few runs

Because it's bungie, they can't think of anything fun to keep players around so they resort to unrewarding grind
