This...... This is what is wrong with Destiny. The game has so much potential but because of cry baby casuals the game is soft. This is why Exotics aren't random drops anymore because people in forsaken go so mad they weren't getting Lord of Wolves. Its called grinding. I have a family, full time job, a baby, and a social life. Its called time management. I have everything in the game and I'm a top 1-2 percent in raids. Its not that hard you just suck at the game lol.

  • Except grinding isn’t what makes the game fun. It isn’t skill based either. It quite literally is a waste of time. Destiny needs to transition to MERIT BASED. rewards. And make activities that are harder reward more. There is no reason a top tier crucible player or raid player should have nothing to show for it. You aren’t not a casual for grinding btw. The grind is stupid. Always has been. Weekly rotations? Why? Why not let us play the content we want to play when we want to? We still gotta do it don’t we? So why does it matter whether I wanna farm last wish this week vs next week? Or whether or not I do a mission to get a gun now or later?

  • 3 per week with the rest being a close to 5-10% chance per encounter while needing 20 for the exotic and 30 for the catalyst. Being perfect %, that is 1 every 10-20 runs in 1 encounter. Meaning to get 20 using max time in every day, playing 1 encounter 15 times (for middle ground), it’ll take you 14 days with 212 clears. You tell me that the game is good when you need to do over 200 runs in 2 weeks for a single exotic.

  • Learn how to do math instead of typing a wall of text to try seeming more educated than you really are. It doesn't take 200 runs to get necro

  • Dude you clearly can’t read. 5% is 5/100 or 1/20. The first number being how many of the currency you get (in this case 1) out of how many runs (in this case 20. 10% is 10/100 or 1/10. Same as above. If you also read the threads, you’d see I specifically state out “without triumphs” and “in a situation where the probability is true.”

  • XD first you are trying to fight my math is wrong, but then when shown the math, you turn around and quote me on something I didn’t deny. Talk about picking at straws.

  • You said it wouldn’t and my math is wrong. I then showed you the math and you continue to think I’m denying saying it’ll take more than 200 clears XD. Let’s add it up slowly for your undeveloped brain: 5% drop rate means 1 out of every 20 runs (if you looked at the threads like I told you, you would have seen i specifically state out encounters. Most people are doing the final one which dictates as a run on raid report. Even if it wasn’t a full run.) Taking that you get 3 automatically upon your first completion each week, you are still missing 17 of this currency. (Again, like I said in other threads, this whole example is saying if you do 0 triumphs.) for 5%, again 1 out of every 20 runs, to get 17 of the currency, you would need to do, if you plan on doing it all in one week, 340 runs to get all 17 IF the game’s probability metrics were absolute. Ie: if it physically said “you only get 1 every 20 runs.” This is the worst case situation. For 10%, you cut the 340 in half because 10% is 1 out of every 10 runs. Again, 3 for the first time each week, then 17 missing. 10*17=170. This is the BEST case Situation. However we want an average. So you take 15 runs instead. Being about 6.6r%. You add the value of 5*17=85. 170+85=255. Or 256 per the first initial run. Again, to re-iterate, this is done in a 1 week span with 1 first time run. The other was with 3. Meaning you’d subtract 20, 40, 35 respectively. Any further “you are wrong because I say so” will just show how little education you truly got.

  • MMO is massive multiplayer online. Heck, apex is considered that and there is no real grind outside cosmetics. The type of game you are describing is a looter shooter. Also, you don’t know grind till you’ve hardcore grinded runescape and WoW. However the difference is both of those still were balanced and those items were more lucrative. In d2, the weapons are shifted. On top of the fact that the classes arnt really classes. More like one is the base mold and the other two built off that. Titans are supposed to be the shield, but play more like scout from team fortress. Warlocks are supposed to be support but play more like scout + diva. Hunters are supposed to be fast and stealthy, but play more like a mosquito. Literally no class plays as they are supposed to be at the end. Making the grind more pointless. On top of the fact that it’s a forceful “repeat 200 times.” No game has a forced x times. Rng random drops are different. Quests that force a rediculous amount of play is unacceptable. What will happen is people are going to be now burnt out of that raid, get the weapon, and turn the game off because of the repetition.

  • I teach raids dungeons quests and pvp dude XD. I want the game to be accessible and fun for everyone. There is a reason why large looter games don’t have a high backing. They are made for specific people. D2 however was made for everyone. Look at y1. It’s only when people like yourself, who just want to do the same stuff over and over again, but also want it to be so hard that just taking one step kills you, dose it actually affect the enjoyability of the game. Hence why both ends of pvp AND pve have been terrible for years. It’s either to hard because you said the season before was to easy, or it’s to easy because you stated it was to hard. You then turn around and ask for more powerful stuff when we don’t need it. The fact is the game is dying because of its grind.
