I didn’t make your point; you just extracted a piece of mine that fit yours, and that’s cool. I understand what you’re saying.
Still, imo, the only way armor stats can truly be a part of build-crafting is if we have the same amount of control over it as every other part of build-crafting 🙂.
You cannot,in good faith, deny that we don’t. If we did, you wouldn’t see as much angst about the nerf.
Also, that whole “choices” bit isn’t panning out in this sense. It’s diametrically opposed to the freedom builds were sold as.
I get it. We all want our decisions to matter, and the reward for making the correct ones. However, the mere existence of a “correct” one implies there never was a choice, and when you say “choice” what you’re really saying in practice is limitation (for most people), which brings us right back to the nerf.
It’s not about the choice of whether to stack 5 res mods, it’s when doing so still doesn’t get you to 100 that makes them complain, even after grinding for focusing.
That’s all I’m saying. Everything else you’re right about.

Editado por TheArtist: 1/31/2023 5:15:02 PMNo. Actually you keep making Special Pleading arguments that don’t hold up. In fact, the conditions that you tried to invoke on behalf of stats applies to all gear characteristics in a game like this. You forgot. Stats may be random, but the player ultimately decides what gear he is going to keep (and equip) and what stat distribution is preferred. And until crafting was added, players had no more control over what perks a gun had than they had over stat distribution on armor.

I didn’t forget, sir. I don’t argue the improvement, and I don’t appreciate the “pleading” part. If I sounded disrespectful, I apologize. My point still stands, however. And, you, sir, are willfully ignoring it, while slyly debasing it with nothing more than posturing. So let’s sum it up: “if you don’t play as much as required to max out resilience on all the armor you use for builds, tough luck…that’s your choice.”

“Special pleading” simply refers to a specific error where you invoke a double-standard. That things that aren’t fundamentally different should be viewed and treated differently. The perks of non-crafted weapons and the stats of armor aren’t different and are dealt with the same way where buildcrafting is concerned. So just like Bungie nerfs certain perks or weapons when they become OP and bias the sandbox, it’s appropriate that they nerf an armor stat that is having the same effect on the game… …and Resilience is having that effect. The Division 1 tried to ignore this in its first year and it nearly destroyed the game and the franchise.

Your discourse here proves you add nothing but bs to this community. I’m sure your nose is permanently stained from how much you defend Bungie’s bs.
