Always said 4vs4 was perfect.
Longer matches also was perfect, less messy for sure.
But we won't get it.
Youtoubers and the stomping crowd will prevent.

year one had 4v4 and that was boring as hell

It was boring for other reasons as well. Game was slow, abilities took too long to recharge and didn’t deal enough damage. Weapons had a longer time to kill and static rolled weapons with only a handful of viable choices. I actually liked 4v4 but after being used to D1, everything felt slow and awkward.

If you're getting stomped on in 6s, it wouldn't matter if it's only 4s. You'd still get crapped on by the same people. It's on the players to do better, not Bungie. Every match is winnable until it says defeat

Having 2 less players shooting at you obviously means your going to die less. The problem is the maps were designed around 4v4
