Two part answer.
1- that’s just how people are today. Ego, selfish, and insecure.
2- Bungie has played into for much of destiny. Top against bottom,. Hardcore vs casual. Gud vs got gud. The game has set the example.
Add these 2 together and you have what we got.
A bunch of -blam!-.
And some really cool people doing great things, just not loud enough to be heard.

Yeah and I respect the hell out of people at the top who aren’t going around throwing get gud, bow down to my 2.0+ k/d. Just brings back bad memories of for honor, the most toxic gaming community ever, and I fear that destiny’s pvp could become that if it’s not catered to new people learning you know?
