It doesn't matter if you don't observe issues caused by your network connection, it matters how your connection is negatively impacting other players.

I understand that, but what I’m saying if we don’t know our connection is currently bad how can we know it’s hurting other players experience?

You would have received an in-game warning that your connection was not sufficient before the first restriction was placed; you may have clicked through without reading the warning. At that point, you should have avoided PvP until you fixed the issues with your connection; Bungie made that choice for you when you chose to continue negatively impacting other players' experience.

Editado por sneakybrick: 8/22/2021 12:09:44 AMDid you read the post? I did receive that warning, but I have been playing on this connection for three years and when I investigated the issue everything appeared normal. This left me with the conclusion the warning was due to a high number of reports after having switched to a disruption break truthteller/multimach combo, it’s easy for this combo to look like lag because of the speed multimach kills you. Cause let’s be clear I’m not fighting my restriction here, I’m just suggesting that there could be better ways of communicating to players that they have an insufficient connection so they can make the choice to not continue playing with a poor connection. My goal is not to make my opponents curse my wifi just curse me. Also I’m greatly looking forward to my Starlink pre order being filled because I’m already using the best connection available to me. One other thing, this post isn’t looking for sympathy, just using my own experience to offer feed back to something that I believe bungie could do to improve the experience across the board. I believe there would be less lag heavy games if it was easier for people to know their connection is not up to snuff in that moment.
