To what, get adept loot? Making sweats play other sweats and not stomp normal people all weekend won’t change that

Adept weapons have nearly no advantage over the normal version. The point in going flawless is to say that you are able to go flawless. If we make flawless easy then we’ll have the same situation with comp where 5500 is so easy that nobody gives a shit if you got 5500.

Making the top 0.1% not pub stomp for recov money every weekend would make flawless an actual achievable goal, not easy

Players only resort to recovs when the goal is unachievable for them. Recovs were a much smaller issue in d1 because of this

Also in d1 you could still match flawless players after they’ve gone flawless but recovs weren’t as much of an issue.

People buy carries and recovs for the things they can’t do themselves. Nobody says hey I’m going to spend an entire day to weeks pay to save a couple hours. That’s absurd. Bungie created the market by making the goal unachievable. Backwards thinking like what you just said is what is keeping it that way.

going flawless is just as achievable as in d1 but the only difference is that the mode is so terribly boring and cheater filled that nobody wants to play it which means that the player base is a lot lower so people match good players a lot more. people only blame recovs for why trials is bad because they need a boogie man to blame it on instead of just admit that they arent good enough.

If none of my points are valid then that would mean that cheaters are fine, 3 peeking is fine, the mode not being rewarding is fine, and elimination being a bad boring mode is fine.

No, it isn’t. If that were the case then the percent of people getting to three or five wins would be the same as d1. The number of player might be less but the percent would not. You just made that whole thing up and it has no basis is reality.

did you even read what i said or did you just cover your ears and start yelling? i literally said people are going against good players more because the mode is terrible right now which means less people which means its harder for lower skilled players. recovs are the least important issue right now but youre blaming them because youve never actually taken any time to think about why the mode is bad.

That’s exactly what I’m saying. Making the game mode more accessible for players to go for 3-5 wins and get loot without matching a flawless stack every first or second game for 5 hours will make people actually want to play trials again. I know when messenger was the 3 win a few weeks ago I played trials for all afternoon and actually had fun, since the increased player population meant better games against players closer to my skill level. The next week when the HC was the flawless reward I saw flawlesses every third game, and it was normal trials suffering again

people arent playing trials because the mode is boring, cheaters run rampant, people 3 peek every game which causes 20 minute games of standing still, and it doesnt feel rewarding. its not because people are going against good players, if it were because of that then trials wouldve died in d1.
