I dont even care i got my catalyst and im never gonna play the mission again.
My issue is the reward wasnt worth having a timer attached to it.
Whisper of the Worm and Zero Hour, these were great with timers because Whisper and Outbreak were great rewards. But, im sorry the catalyst for dead mans tale was not worth having a timer on.

Dead mans tale with and without the cat is better than outbreak ever was.

It was made this way to give the casuals the gun. Obviously ppl couldn’t even get the guns before, so they watered it down and now the challenge is only for the catalyst

No, they really weren't. Timers or jumping puzzles, but not both. I prefer to enjoy things, not be rushed to complete it so I don't feel like I am wasting my time on it.

So Whisper and Outbreak were not great rewards???? They're better than a catalyst that does almost nothing. Also, because of how The Whisper and Zero Hour missions were designed, if you removed the timers those missions would have no challenge at all. Jumping puzzles are not a challenge unless their is a punishment for failure. Punishments meaning taking to long or respawn restriction (punishment for failure here equals death and a reset). This is why ive always said make the whole mission respawn restricted if you or your entire team is killed you get sent back to orbit and you must restart. If you do this you dont need the timer.

I've barely ever used my Whisper, but Outbreak is an amazing weapon. That being said, I hate jumping puzzles. I spent the entire timer just trying to get around the outside of the building while my team finished it off. If you want to make them that difficult, then fine, just don't make them into a big deal. There is more than enough content that I doubt that I will ever be able to get to, so I don't think that I need more.

They could replace the timer with the modifier that boots everyone to orbit on fireteam death and people would still complain thats too much. Some people are never happy, give them silver and they want gold, give them gold and now they want diamond.
