Destiny 1 says otherwise, they can and more than likely will sunset exotics especially if supers are on the table.

Sure, change is good but by taking away things by force? And they removed almost everything in the game only to reissue older weapons like ikelos SMG shows they can't replace things they take away. Also, there are non crutch weapons like minimum distance I like to use because of its Time Crisis feel when playing with it so what is the replacement for that?

Performance has almost zero difference in the same archetype and fire rate so I choose look over performance

If they're just changing a number next to a bunch of old guns we already have and making us grind them all over then that's not really a good change. Also, isn't ikelos smg an even older weapon than recluse?

It is, they reissued it a season or two ago. Think it’s sunset just after the season of Dawn gear.
