First is was power creep, but then Bungie reintroduced the same exact weapons with the same exact perks. Then it was the game is just to large and bungie needed to remove those weapons, but those weapons are still going to be in the game and really aren’t going anywhere. Just limited from what ever is considered at the time endgame.

They don't do [b][i]either[/i][/b] of those things. So it's going to be junk and they are canning 4 locations and 4 raids they [i][b]COULD[/b][/i] be used for.

Weapons become unusable in any new content from the fall on. Light level jumps significantly with the DLC so I won’t be able to use my main staple primary weapons. They haven’t replaced them either. They should be looking at what’s missing weapon wise and it’s a lot. Besides they’re removing a lot of old stuff for the new stuff. I understand that they have to do that but it also takes away older content that would be playable with sunset weapons. This season is mostly old weapons. Weapons we already have so it’s not creating a scenario to try new things like they suggest. It’s utter bullshit honestly and s mistake. If they want to sunset weapons they should of introduced a new weapons system like 2.0 armor. If weapons had more versatility and customization, everyone would be dumpling the old stuff for the new system. They did this to create artificial grind and to present old content as new content.

That’s it in a nut shell. They’re putting out mostly old weapons or reskins. How is me acquiring things I already have, promoting trying new things? It doesn’t. But that’s what they’re claiming. How does acquiring what I already have but in a limited pool create more choice? It doesn’t. But that’s what they’re claiming. How does acquiring what I already have stop power creep? Power creep doesn’t exist in Destiny. The only time it started to show up was pinnacles. Balancing updates solves that problem. Honestly I’m fine with them retiring pinnacles if they put new ones out each season. But a god rolled bygones hasn’t, isn’t or never will break any part of the game. How does acquiring what I already have save the game? It won’t and is counter productive with chasing god rolls. Why chase the same thing again and again when it becomes obsolete. Most will use best rolls available and not chase weapons anymore. Honestly that was my favorite part of Destiny. Collecting great weapons and chasing perfect rolls for builds. So besides your extremely valid point of time not being respected. There’s the issues I listed. They should retire the garbage and pinnacles, refresh vendors and activities with new weapons and allow players to keep their favorite legendaries. Add new pinnacles with a shelf life so they can with around them with content. If they added a new 4 burst pulse, on par with a god rolled blast furnace but had better handling. I’d grind it in a heart beat and shard my old perfect rolls. But I won’t do that with weapons that last a year. Ultimately they should be introducing a new weapons system on par with armor 2.0. Where your weapons have more versatility and customization. They could add seasonal mods that do crazy things and promote builds. Wish they would of done that instead of this.

Devalued might be the wrong word. Hmm I'll go with eroded. They eroded it so much that it doesn't mean anything now. It don't matter whether it took me a week or a few months. A guns a gun and if it does the job I'll use it. Meta or otherwise. If it wasn't such a breeze I would probably be more in the upset line of thinking but I'm not. My perspective honestly.

Your anecdotal reasoning does not hold up in places where your anecdote is not valid, therefore, your anecdote does not account for the people who share the same views but don’t fit your box you see fit to discredit.

That’s really the only major concern the can stand on but a lot of people don’t like gambit and with the modes being merged soon that’ll probably be addressed.
