You are very right, I’m disappointed this season that it’s 3 exotic weapons all from quests or given (witherhoard, travelers chosen and the coming trace) and no armor for any class. If they went the route this season that they have I expected maybe a lot more catalysts in the game because as seen with trinity ghoul, a catalyst can greatly change a weapon without having to change the weapon some other way and also gives a masterworked option. Combine that with in the future we will most likely see a lot more mods for armor that affect guns like the unstoppable pulse arms I would like to see the stupid glimmer column in the artifact replaced with champion armor mods and the champion weapon mods have a full column giving us more choice each season. Perhaps the armor mods can be different weapon types to the weapon mods so it covers all primaries one way or the other.

I like all 3 trace rifles, I just wish we had non exotic ones as well

I haven't gotten that one in d2 yet, I can get to the boss but I have like 2 mons left, I think I used it a few times in d1

It grew on me and then they buffed it (accidentally nerfed it but fixed it) and suddenly anything else was just there to clean up. Rag dolling dregs/thrall/psions never gets old.

I love the molesto. It never left my inventory in destiny 1
