Not vanilla. But the HoW era and Rise of Iron era were when the game came back from being shit. TTK was cool until you realized it brought nothing while rendering most of the game obsolete.

Rise of Iron was great too.

If TTK didn’t have the arbitrary level caps for old gear that it had, I would have loved it. But all it did was make most of the game pointless to play while doing little to nothing to replace all the items and content that got buried.

Which is how it should be, considering Destiny doesn’t really have the structure to just arbitrarily axe shit. Literally the only things that haven’t really been brought up to speed are old raid weapons.
