Tbh taken king and forsaken were great expansions I would like to see more of that momentum for year 4 of D2 because it’s what the game needs

3 RespuestasActually, on the topic of Taken King, Funny story: Remember that Centurion Oryx took right after you landed on the Dreadnaught, then the Centurion and the taken Ogre tried to stop you from killing the King? Heh... didn't work. So the Centurion's bond brothers are pretty angry they lost their commander. They're leading a team to blow up the Dreadnaught's core. Core goes... most of the system goes with it. You're going to make sure that doesn't happen.

The had another studio help with Forsaken. Bungie independently made Shadowkeep with the time they had and the seasons that followed so... Yea sure, they can make the Forsaken era again despite being understaffed midst a global pandemic where everyone is staying home.
-
Well they’re Tak (enk) ing our gear and leaving us feeling forsaken. Is that close enough 😜
-
Taken king yes. Forsaken meh.

4 RespuestasIf it isn’t as good as those then I’ gonna be really disappointed. It also should introduce and ALL black shader. We’ve had all white shaders since VoG, never really had an all black one. Also going to the dreadnaught would be super sick, I loved the dreadnaught

They pulled a Monica
they don't know we switched it
8 RespuestasHopefully more Forsaken & less TTK. Besides the raid, the best thing about TTK was the QoL updates that released alongside it.
-
Me too, but i'm not counting on it. Last time they ahd the help of Activision and way more resources then the do currently. I'll love to be wrong, but I Just don't see it. Although, given the fact that the game has been in such a bad state for so long, maybe the reason is bc they're dumping all of the resources on that.. so who knows
-
Doubtful. Since Bungie had Activision backing them up for both of those. Get used to the Shadowkeep model.

1 RespuestaEditado por Demon_XXVII: 6/1/2020 4:45:37 AMIf Bungie are to reveal the Veil as the next big threat (with 6 different forms of enemy opponents/AI) & the Darkness presents itself as the ultimate threat, revealing actual campaign, story built up over the last 6 years Introducing new planets, locations, weaponry, loot, The possibility of Dark subclasses trees Etc And Bungie don’t create a Forsaken quality/depth/style ‘Comet’ dlc this September/October, then they might as well pack it up, sell the franchise or kill it! It has to be ‘All in’ - or they are gone! Their other franchise they’ve spent the last few years working on - that won’t Matter!
-
They already said that Forsaken nearly killed their development team...it was apparently just too big an undertaking for them and caused a lot of employees to work beyond their normal limits. They're not gonna do something on that scale again. At best, the next dlc will be about as big as Shadowkeep. It'll have a new explore-able area, a raid, a dungeon, and some side quests, nothing much else.
-
I'm guessing it will be smaller that Shadowkeep.

It's a shame because without Activision that won't happen.

Editado por despicable-stev: 6/1/2020 6:44:03 PMWhat the game needs is a new development team and leadership. One that’s not dead set on push there own goal . One that’s smart enough to understand, you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.

8 RespuestasCommunity: i hope bungie can pull off another Taken King Bungie: Reskin Protocol activated🤖 Next Expansion: Savathun Taken Queen just like Shadowkeep was a Crota's End reskin
-
5 RespuestasYeah but....you ready to return to the Dreadnought? Or Venus? Or something else they can just reuse?
-
9 RespuestasTTK killed the variety in gameplay and loot, so let’s not advocate for that.
-
It won’t be. Bungie doesn’t have the man power to push out a taken king size expansion. Bungie had a partner back then . Plus because next gen is coming out I’m sure there busy making destiny run on the new systems.
-
9 RespuestasI wanna see a rise of iron dlc raid wise people used swords an the raid was just fun overall.
-
No way! It will be shittiest dlc ever. They tell you that covid shit happens and you must pay 39.90 for their crap.
-
I’ve been hoping that same thing for a long time, it feels like. Hope and expectation are entirely different, unfortunately.
-
We all do, but that’s not happening without third party developers help. Bungie never did their development alone. Until now or they hiding something we don’t know. I dont expect an expansion much bigger than Shadowkeep, then more of the same seasonal crap.

We all do. Literally every fall destiny expansion is the breaking point and they always come through, blowing us away in september and then leaving us with not much throughout the year. The only exception I can think of is the end of D2 Year 2 because that year was actually pretty good in my opinion; season of opulence was great and some of the most fun the game has ever been. But then shadowkeep was just OK and D2 Year 3 has been awful.
