Your trading ideas will also increase real money issues. People get pissed about paid carries now. Imagine the complaints, once people start selling exotics. Then the game would actually become, pay 2 win. It will also create a Chinese gold farmer's situation, like WoW has had for a long time.
It won't ever happen. But you are free to voice your opinions though.

There's not enough loot to do it, even with random rolls. That's why Bungie won't do it. Otherwise, it would be much easier for them to track trades than account recoveries, since in-game trades would occur via their servers, presumably. They also wouldn't want anyone trading their EverVerse items for example, because then people would stop buying Silver.
-
There are IB sets I will never acquire. There are ornaments I will never acquire. I’d pay some serious shards for those. Maybe even some curated raid loot.
-
That’s a yikes. Curated raid loot for shards? Your joking. Or literally any type of currency would be too low.
-
What about a trade system like The Division? just simply transfer things useless for you to some other guardian, actually i would like it.
-
That wouldn't be as bad. But Bungie has said several times that trading wouldn't be in the Destiny universe. I suppose with the Activision split anything is possible though.
-
Do you honestly believe activision was the problem? Seriously?
-
Problem with what? I simply said that Bungie has always had a stance against trading in Destiny. And that I believe that stance wont change. I have no idea what influences Activision had pertaining to the different aspects of the way Bungie both tailored their game, or communicated to the player base. But anytime something changes, or partners part ways, there can be numerous different practices that can change.

I wasn’t replying to you

Lol, no problem.

These forums are weird sometimes it drops replies where ever it feels like lol

Editado por MONKEYGOTRABIES: 8/5/2019 7:05:08 AMTrading CANNOT exist in Destiny. If a character has the capacity to trade, they have the capacity to charge IRL for the trade. The only way they can argue in court that lootboxes are not gambling is by claiming that the contents have no value IRL. Once you're able to plunk down $5 for silver to buy lootboxes and roll the dice on either getting worthless crap or something for which someone will pay more than $5, that's it. Multiple state and federal charges and potentially racketeering. The fact that they specifically brought up trading as a feature, and the game launched without it, could and probably should be seen as proof that Bungle always intended for Destiny to include MTX. Sure, they could disable trading for Eververse items, butit would highlight this issue.

Not necessarily. Something similar to the Division, couldn't really be monitized. It is simply a system where for example you have a short lived shared loot pool. So you solo que into strike playlist. You run the strike, and all 3 people get a rng reward from chest. Then you would have a limited time to trade those 3 items amongst only those 3 players. Premade fireteams could in theory farm different activities. So I guess 2 people could invite a third paying member to farm something. But D2, is so different than D1 loot wise not sure the point. Strikes don't really reward anything. The non match made weapon quests, reward it to everyone, so wouldn't need trading. Paid raid runs could be more monitized but again, not sure if that would be worth it either. It just doesn't really have a place in the Destiny universe. Which has always been my basic stance on it. Watched gold farmers really screw with WoW market systems. Just no way to really prevent it. And it would really turn into more pay 2 win than like loot box gambling, found in EA games and the like.
-
D2 typically offers half the loot D1 and people repeatedly tell them farming for good rolls is most of the replay value, that the grind IS the game. You expect them to enact a feature that might mean they grind less? Keep dreaming.
-
I have never heard a single person say that the god roll grind is all the games replay value. In fact, I would argue otherwise. Most of the replay value for me just comes from having fun in the crucible or raiding with friends. The grind is an add on. The loot an incentive, the fun comes from the actual game. And I, along with many others, have plenty of it.
-
Yeah, no I don't. I don't want trading. Have never wanted trading. Just discussing it's worth, or really its lack of worth in Destiny 2, is all.
-
Editado por Krantzstone: 8/5/2019 8:14:00 AMAh, I thought you meant free market trading of all gear. Whereas your idea of a limited time window for trading loot amongst a fireteam after a loot drop might be workable, although I haven't really thought about it in detail.
-
Division’s got a great trade system. Trade items for up to an hour, but only to those in the fire team when you acquired it.
