Controller recoil is fine. It was this way in Destiny 1 and it was fine. It's fine in Destiny 2 also. I'll probably switch to another game if they remove recoil on console. I can't imagine the game being any fun with zero recoil.

  • And for controller being sorted out all it needs is some slight tweaks Luke not having 180's being so easy. It's bad when I can plug in a controller a do better because if aim assist with 180's.

  • But there is recoil on MnK it's different than Controller due to there being a difference between a mouse and a thumbstick. MnK dosnt have aim assist recoil is fine. It's are actual aim.

  • Mouse and keyboard recoil is kind of silly. It's just a slight bobbing of your sights when firing. I much prefer actual gun kick.

  • That video didn't tell me anything I didn't aready know. Yes, there is technically recoil on PC. I'm only saying that it's a dumbed down version that isn't very impactful on gameplay. There's a reason why PC players don't value their stability stat all that much. It hardly helps with anything in the first place. I don't see any reason to reduce recoil on console. Recoil was the same in Destiny 1, and nobody complained. People only complain now because they have something to compare it to.

    Yes. They said they couldn't have the standard console recoil on PC because you would be constantly picking up your mouse. I understand that. However, there are 2 things you're saying that I don't understand. Firstly, there can be [b]some[/b] recoil on PC. On a very rare occasion you would need to pick up your mouse, but as long as it doesn't happen too often it wouldn't be that bad. Instead, recoil on PC is pretty much entirely in the form of screen shake. Secondly, I see no reason why this should change on console. You can control standard recoil just fine with a controller, and it's definitely beneficial to the game for it to exist. Changing/removing recoil from console is a terrible idea.

    I want recoil tweaked on very weapons on console just 180 rpm handcannon's. And you can ask any pc player they don't want to pick the mouse during a gunfight when you do you loose control of your gun till your mouse is back down. You should try pc before saying it needs change.

    Maybe it needs to change, maybe it doesn't. I don't know. I personally would like it to change if I ever play on PC, but until I do it doesn't matter to me. It's just annoying when people complain about recoil on console, and compare it to PC. If you want no recoil then fine, but don't try to infect our perfectly fine recoil with your own version. I've played on console from the very beginning of Destiny 1. I had about 1500 hours in that game, and currently have about 1000 in Destiny 2. I know enough about the game's console controls to say that they don't need to change.

    Cool nice play time I've also played on console just as long(2k hrs on D1 and 150 hrs D2 console) I switched during curse of Osiris I don't want all guns to change on controller I just want 180 rpm handcannon's to change so people stop thinking it's their only option cause they don't have recoil.

  • I feel like 180rpm hand cannons are overrated. The only really good ones were Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten, and those are now 150rpm. 180rpm hand cannons are balanced in my opinion.
