I don’t understand these weapon drops. The first two Gambit Prime games I played I told my team I’d be the Sentry. All I did was concentrate on invaders and Taken sent over, nothing else. In those two games I got the Masterwork shot gun twice (both times after taking out blockers and each time the drop accompanied the in game medal that flashes on screen). In the third match I concentrated on taking down adds and got a normal version of the SMG. I’ve received no weapons from The Reckoning. I feel like the weapons are tied to how well you do in your specific role but I really don’t have any proof of that other then my experience. I think I’ve played between 6-10 matches total.
