With Activision setting deadlines for release there will be no excuses for releasing an unfinished D3.

they are already thinking of an excuse
-
I hate to break it to you but D2 was given a years extension before it was released broken...
-
It wasn't released broken so much as just bad. The game was completely different and not in good ways for the vast majority of parts, but i wouldn't say broken
-
A rushed game is forever bad as you are playing catch up from the get go. To me D2 felt broken and disjointed right from the beta but being a huge destiny 1 fan I still brought it.... hoping for the best.
-
I must have misinterpreted what you meant by broken then. It seems like you mean broken and disjointed as in incomplete, lacking quality and just kinda bad in general, I took it at first as meaning buggy

Got scrapped halfway through. D2 was made in about a year and. Half. And it wasnt objectively broken.

Other than they have to pay 1000 staff upwards of £100"000 a year each, that's lower end, and they've no income other than eververse
-
I wonder what that Chinese company paid them to do? I'm trying to be optimistic but then again I have no reason to be.
-
Creating a new IP for Asia, I'd guess a mobile game, but honestly, 100 million isn't that much when you consider their wage bill, even the lowest guys on 100k a year, they've just under 1000 employees. They also now have to promote any new content, in like 52 different countries, in god knows how many languages, it's a nightmare even thinking about it.
-
How do you know the salary of the lesser experienced employees? I’d say your overshooting your numbers there bud
-
It was leaked on Reddit a while ago that low tier bungie Devs brought home just shy of 100k a year. I went 100k on avg because a lot of people earn way more. There's like 7 tiers of management.
-
Hmmmm I seriously doubt this is the case
-
I think Holtzmann also said it on dcp podcast when talking about release dates for D3, n he worked at Bungie. Idk man, I've no idea, just from what I've read/heard. Even if you half the 100k, it's still mega money n they've no income currently, it's all outgoing. With the playerbase super low, I'd imagine eververse isn't bringing in much. Let's hope it works out

The Chinese company specializes in mobile games with monetization elements. Meaning they produce rng loot boxes you buy with real money. Sound familiar?
