No it becomes a door with a bullet or knife or whatever you killed it with stuck into it

That wouldn’t kill it. Killing it means the door is gone, completely destroyed.

Well then it would be a doorway, unless that door wasn’t in a doorway. Like if you took it off of its hinges then killed it
