Go play WoW for a month then see if you still want public chat. Seriously...it can get very bad.

Raids heal autotexting zone or gamewide was annoying as hell. Auction chat if I remember right. Was totally abused. HEALING TANK1 with hugs and kisses from the goddess. GO healer 3! Watch out for ENRAGE! Cleric down! Cleric down! Ugh.

In wow it’s nothing but crap now that the game has built in LFG. All my social channels are muted except for guild chat. Nothing else is necessary.
