Thanks BUNGIE for all these amazing social features !
8 months that this game is out , and still :
-No global chat (with turn ON/OFF option if we desire) . to easily find clans , Raid groups , PvP groups , NF players etc ..
-No local chat to socialise with players around , talk about the game or whatever .
-We still can't talk to unknow players : [b]Like in any single game since 15 years , example > I enjoyed to play with this pick up group , i want to tell them it was fun , maybe we could add eachother for more stuff , but no , i can't talk to them great[/b]
No Bungie is out of touch and think 2018 is too early to have any sort of social features ?
I posted this kind of topics many times since the release of the game , i guess now i'm done , i don't understand what's the problem .

Awww the PC players can't chat in tower. I mean that is such a big concern for Bungie right now. They should really be working on satisfying Destiny 2's lowest player base. Sure thing. Let's just forget about all the stuff on the September roadmap and move resources to making a global chat for once again, the platform with the lowest amount of players. Sorry if I sound like a dick but I would rather them fix actual things in the game that helps every platform have fun instead of a QOL fix for one platform

2 RespuestasMore social features would be good but nobody would use them, there are plenty of other options for you to try. Nobody uses in game chat that was added because people complained in D1. There is guided games fir some endgame matchmaking but nobody uses it. Everyone I play with jumps into a party before we jump into a game. Bungie has always considered this app/website as an extention of the game and you apparently know how to use this site. You can easily add/message someone after a strike or match to see if they still want to play with you.

Personally if they had that ability, it would be the first thing I have disabled. I do not need, nor wish to hear random pointless garble coming over my speakers.

Bungie: "Destiny is a social game, meant to be played in groups!" -Doesn't provide a [good] in-game method for team-building, and doesn't facilitate in-game chat features. That is about as honest as telling us that they would add more vault spaces if the game wasn't held back by last-gen hardware.

Warframe did it and it’s great except when they are a little too severe and over sensitive lol. I just got myself a 1 week ban from all chats for saying “ur mum gey lul” others were posting racist shit but hey, I guess mom insults are really mean x)

Some of these people in this topic have to be half -blam!-. THIS game has always been the most SOCIAL/ANTISOCIAL game ever created. You need others to complete task and they have always made it only possible to get the what you need through 3rd party. And of you sheep that claim that you only log onto to play with friends Are truly dilusional. MILLIONS of players created their entire friends list due to destinys horrible in game social capabilities. We have hundreds of people we played years with all from Lfg and the 100 etc. And then we meant people through them people. There is very few people that had 6 friends year one that would have want to raid. But 3 years later we had so many good memories and NEW friends

12 Respuestaseasy .. this games engine doesn't have the possibility to maintain a pipe into the game.. one of the devs already confirmed that.. a pipe into the game would increase memory usage unpredictably.. and we had a black tower screen for a while because of a memory overflow when someone was changing something in the inventory while they landed in the tower. Guess what a chat or any messaging function would/could do to the engine..

1 RespuestaConsole players have been getting the shaft and told devs/pubs to keep pumping. Simple people who let this kind of stuff fly. It's astounding. Console users should be grateful to have us here. At least we are attempting to bring this game up to the minimum.

LOL. This is so true. Bungie markets the game as a social team oriented event, but didn't want to put any effort into it. These guys have to be one of the laziest developers around.

I've been saying for a "social" game those aspects haven't been well thought out or executed. With the right tools solo players would benefit.

You can talk to random in your fireteam with the chat feature. Everyone needs to join it though and considering how little that happens, I don't think the majority of players want to talk with random.
