I don't care if anyone has a mic for strikes but they are necessary for Raids. Communication is key to getting a fight done without excessive wipes. I really enjoy the group I play with, we gel well together and the conversation is fun. Occasionally we pick up randoms for a raid and some will stay quiet and only talk when they need to (which is fine) while others will join in the conversation. Either way, a mic is required for people we raid with. With that being said, I have [b]never ever[/b] sent a nasty message to someone over not having a mic, that is just douchey behavior. I clearly state in any LFG ad that a mic is required and if someone joins without one we simply tell them "no can do, we require a mic" and then I thank them for offering to help and wish them luck. It's called being a decent human being.
My view on douchey a-holes is this... be thankful they showed you who they are right up front so you didn't waste any more minutes of your life gaming with them. Let it go and move on..... I dunno, works for me

Communication isn't necessary for most encounters in the raids at this point lol. All of VoG can easily be done without communication. All of it. Same for Crota. Kings Fall needs a little and WotM can be done without, but it's harder

I said: "Communication is key to getting a fight done without excessive wipes." Believe it or not, there are still people out there who haven't done particular raids and/or haven't done the challenges. This week my group Sherpa'd 5 people through VOG and KF (w/challenges). Communication is key and we require a mic... but hey, to each their own.

Some people are new to the game and some just never got around to doing the raid because they can't find a team. I happen to like helping people through their first raid. I give zero f'ks about your opinion on anything as you seem to be exactly the kind of person I avoid like the plague. Keep right on churning out those pearls of wisdom... I'm out
