Me, my nephew, his friend, all of whom play the game in my regular group.
Look at the threads and you see more dislikes than likes. I get that you're a fan, and that you're happy, but there are a ton of people who aren't. Closing your eyes to that doesn't help anything. It just gives Bungie an excuse to ignore problems like they did in D1.
I'll play when the game comes out. I'll play until I don't find it fun anymore. But there are other games coming out that will have similar mechanics, and if this is what D2 is going to wind up as, then I will have no problem dropping D2 in favor of something better.

Everyone in my clan loves it. Also, ALL the people I play with...
-
Yeah right 100% satisfaction. Mug
-
Sure they do,
-
What's funny is my entire clan feels the opposite and is pissed at the changes, everyone I spoke with doesn't think they're moving on to D2 and that's a problem, even if 30 percent of the players jump ship those are still massive numbers and will only cause others to jump ship as well.

Okay?! I am not the one that said everyone hates the changes... I guess I will say my OBVIOUS point. Don't generalize that everyone dislikes the changes or even generalize that more than half of the people dislike the changes without some facts... People come on here to complain and those same people that are the reason Destiny is what it is today. More importantly, this is a BETA. Things will likely change. There could even be strike modifiers or individual ability boosts we don't even know about. You should never assume a BETA is the end product. Now I am going to do what everyone who loves the game does and... play it...

Happy for you. I also assume (perhaps incorrectly) that you're all PvP fans. D2 seems to now be catered to completely conform to PvP. Don't expect those of us who favor PvE to put up with this for long.

Did you not see how massive and beautiful that strike looked? It's amazing. PVE will be epic.

Game play and environment are two different animals. Did the textures look good? Yes. Did some of the changes we didn't get to see sound interesting? Sure. But I can't make an assessment on "maybe" or "Could be". I'm being asked to judge the game on what we have now. What we have now is lacking. Sadly lacking. And looking at one of your other comments, "How do we know there won't be mods to adjust the recharge?" We don't. We don't know there will, and we don't know there won't. We don't know anything. How do we know there won't be some mod that turns nova bob into some end of the world nuke? We don't. But it's not very probable. Since having a recharge mod would break PvP, or there current vision of it, I'm not expecting it. Since having guns that do actual damage to a boss would make PvP imbalanced, I don't see it happening. IN fact, given Bungie's past desire to cater to PvP at the expense of PvE, I don't really expect much. I'd me quite happy to be wrong. But I'm not expecting that either.

Did you notice that your grenade recharge was so long you basically had to play without them?
-
How do you know that gear, mods, or ability nodes won't increase it?
-
You can't build a castle on swamp.

Yes you can. The Holy Grail has proven it.
