The heaviness of the grind really can't be determined until we know how many weapons will be in the game. And on top of that are many will have rolls that will be of use.

Doesn't matter how many weapons, it matters how many are actually good.

Already touched on the importance of them being good. And the number is important if Bungie wants destiny 2 to have variety in its activities.

True, but if they have tons of weapons and only a handful are actually good. The rest are just wasted.
