How the new weapon system will change Destiny forever
The new weapon system is going to be a very big change. All the weapons in the game have a pre selected Roll. So if you get two of the same gun they will be the same every time. I believe this will make the game be more grind heavy due to the fact that we will hunt for a specific gun rather than roll. What do you guys think?

11 RespuestasMore of a grind? More like less of a grind. There are probably hundreds of possible rolls for each gun in D1. There is no way they will make enough guns to come close to the same odds for D2.

1 RespuestaThere are "intrinsic perks" that change, even on the same weapon, so people will be grinding for the right intrinsic perk on specific weapons, plus weapon mods will be there. We aren't sure exactly all the specifics with the mods, but I guarantee that there will be plenty of grinding and variety.

We obsessively hunted for the perfect roll just as much. This will just make it easier to balance everything and I'm all for that.

4 RespuestasNope. No perk rolls means god roll weapons will be easy to obtain in order to keep PvP balanced. Plus half the weapons will be rendered irrelevant thanks to trash perks. The grind...no clue where the grind is going to be. Seems bungie are trying to get rid of it.

4 RespuestasThe heaviness of the grind really can't be determined until we know how many weapons will be in the game. And on top of that are many will have rolls that will be of use.

That roll will need some wasabi to go along with that grind.

Definitely not more of a grind unless they create a butt load of guns but I doubt it. I hope there's a replacement to the grind.

Less variety = less fun... Is what I think...

Keep in mind we will also have weapon mods, so those could affect our grind as well
