The thing about pre-orders is you can cancel them at anytime. Preorder to get it ready, and if gameplay etc doesn't live up to expectation, cancel preorder. No harm no foul.

Why do you do it then anyway? It makes no sense.
-
Why does it matter what other people do? If you preorder you are guaranteed the item and any bonuses with the preorder. Since there is literally ZERO risk to you if you decide to cancel, aside from the whopping $5 it costs to reserve it. Whatever swag you may get as well (beta access, Gamestop has that little Cayde figure, many other games do similar things) you keep that stuff for free. That's why. If I am unimpressed later in, I can cancel and get my $5 back and buy lunch. Also, I hate to point this out, but maybe preordained because I enjoy playing with my friends. I wonder how you "don't really care" but you have played for 75 days total.......

Playing a game and preordering half a year before the drop are two different things. You seem too dense to understand that simple concept. Of course you can do what you want...you can throw yourself off a cliff if you want to, I couldn't care less. But this is an open forum where I can post a simple question just like how I want it.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 OMG, the amount of salt from your comment is denser than the Dead Sea

You'll still have access to the beta
-
Do you think there won't be an open beta? Just a closed one for preorderers?
-
It's unclear at this point. But $5 for early beta access and you don't like it. Cancel the preorder and get your money back.

Tbh, I don't even care for the game...maybe it's good and I'll play it, maybe is sucks. I preordered anyway to sell the stuff of the legendary version to some idiots that'll pay 100s of bucks for it. I sold a Blacksmith shader for 105€ back in 2015 for example. That way I either play D2 completely for free or I'm making money with selling the whole thing.

That's actually a very smart business tactic.
