Exotics are unique... not always better. There's a difference.

Exactly. The problem is a lot of them really don't feel unique. Or not unique enough. They need to add additional, unique perks, or add on to the existing perks. Monte Carlo, for example. Its perk is just that dealing damage, or getting kills, replenishes your melee energy. What if it had an additional perk where damaging an enemy with this weapon briefly increases your melee damage, and melee kills refill the magazine, and increase Monte Carlo's damage for a short time? Then we have Red Death. It's kinda shit right now, but even before that, it was just a pulse rifle with a better version of Life Support. Why not add an additional perk, or effect to the Red Death perk, where, while critically wounded, or as health gets lower, stability (or range) and rate of fire increase? Last Word's Exotic perk could have an additional effect where kills refill the magazine, and for a short time, the next shot you fire will fire the entire magazine in rapid succession.

They should be better cause you can't equip all at once

That makes no sense at all. Exotics are for a specific purpose. If you want to utilize that purpose, it's up to you.

Unique doesn't mean good , doesn't mean useable , doesn't mean it has a really good feel

I use bad juju on pve all the time to great success. Pulled out red death in Crucible not too long ago and love it. TLW is still one of the best guns in game... wow, use it right, bro. Thorn is fine expect for the shitty DOT, but it performs fine as a weapon. I think you are just complaining too much.

It's about tactics and skill. With your logic, when two clever dragons face off, both die. But that's not always the case... why? Because one person outplayed the other. I've ripped with Red Death, because I outplay the others. I've torn up the map with Unbent Tree, Righteous VII, An Answering Chord, Uffern, NL Shadow... explain that to me. TTK is only 1 part of the gun fight. Get good.

How often do u need to use a grenade when useing red death or melee ? Do u use red death and bad juju in3s or 6s ? Cause in 6s is more causal and in 3s in competitive most of the time ,
