hahah its actually WAS a major issue.
Its an exploit. It allowed players to get to ridiculous light levels and blow through the raid. They needed to fix it ASAP

BLOW THROUGH THE RAID!!!? It was nothing more than a quick way to level up high enough to play the raid. I'm 366 and Wraith of the Machine is a chore!
-
Yes blow through the raid People were able to bypass the grind it took to go from 335-365 in a couple hours. Then that left them the rest of the time before the raid dropped to move up towards 380 thus leading to people blowing through the raid in a couple of hours. When really people shopuldve barely been scrapping 360 by the raid

MOM!!!!! The other kids are smarter than me and play the game the way they want to play!!! WHHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! They can't do that! How dare they play the game the way they want to. MOM!!!! Call Bungie and tell them to put an end to this so my participation trophy is just as shiny as theirs!! Play your own game and shut up about how others play. If your jealous or are going to be whiny about what others do that does not effect you at all then turn off your system. NERF CRY BABIES!!!!! The REAL major issue with this game.
-
LMFAO how immature could you act? Bungie just fixed an EXPLOIT in the game. They didnt nerf anything. They made it so people couldnt EXPLOIT a boss that dropped endless loot. Shouldve been fixed long ago
-
Eh, opinions vary. You should get over how others play or just shut up about then. How others play does not effect you.
-
Your mindset is beyond retarded. There is no "opinions vary". It wasnt intended to be played that way. It was an exploit. It needed to be fixed because it was broken. Bungie fixed it. End of story
-
Exactly.
-
Eh, opinions vary. You cry about how others play the game, makes you retarded. Less crying about others, more shutting up would make you seem less retarded.
-
Cry baby? With such an immature post you put up, I would figure you would be the child. Oryx is actually correct. Bungie needed to fix this rather quickly. It was an exploit. And exploit, by their very definition, are not intended, just like your response.
-
Eh, opinions vary. I thought is was a perfect example of how you most likely are in real life. It was a great way to get engrams. If your jealous, do the same or go some where else. How others play the game has not effect on you. Stop crying about it.

But farming Omnigul and getting max light gear will give an advantage in trials versus teams that tried to level up fairly. They probably won't be max light because they didn't use an exploit like you.
-
HA HA HA HA, that's awesome you used the word FAIRLY. So someone who saved up 4000 strange coins to speed level up factions to get a higher light is FAIR as apposed to someone who went in and killed and ultra.....which is the point of the game, to kill an ultra in case you did not know.....but that is not FAIR?? My god people on this planet are just stupid. Personally, I did not farm Omnigul, I did not have to. I saved all of my coins and edged all of my factions. But I salute those that did and were smart enough to kill an ultra, just like the game is suppose to be played.
-
How is saving strange coins unfair? I would say that you've been holding yourself back if you haven't used any. Farming a boss in an unintended spot is an exploit that needed to be fixed there's no other way of looking at it.
-
How is killing an ultra unfair? IT IS INTENDED TO BE KILLED!!!! Come on man, use intelligence.
-
It only went up to 365 light max lol not that big of a exploit, considering our light lvl will end up going to 400. And most ppl doing it were 345-350 since the gap between 350 and 360 is such a grind.
-
A tough grind is no excuse to let people continue cheezing omnigul.
-
It is discouraging to decode every blue since Rise of Iron dropped only for them to peak at 340.
