Omnigul will now drop rewards once during a Strike and will require the Strike to be finished to drop additional rewards.
Wow just wow. Because THIS was the major issues that needed immediate attention, right? lol

2 RespuestasI got to 365 by doing Heroic Strikes. I'll admit that I wanted to do some Farmnigul, but I ran into 3 teams that were...well...Let's just say they were ill-prepared. Anyway, it took my about 3 days to get to 365 the "legit" way. And to be honest it just felt like a huge waste of time. Between getting my ass kicked in Crucible and having to repeatedly play the same 4 strikes, I don't blame people for farming Omnigul. It's kind of Bungie's fault. You release a 370+ raid days after the DLC releases and most people are starting from 335? Not to mention the drop rate for legendaries went down (which isn't completely bad) and now green engrams are back in the mix.
-
1 RespuestaIt only took them nine days. Most players who wanted to farm Omnigul did it already.
-
2 RespuestasDat is what you cheesers get. Trying playing the game legit like the rest of us.
-
2 RespuestasHahahahahaha after all the hardcore players ALREADY got done doing it. Perfect.
-
1 RespuestaYeah, they did fix it because people like you will cheese to 380 and then say you have nothing to do and there's not enough content
-
Good thing they didn't fix the Red Bar Warriors!!!!
-
And......
-
So you're upset because you actually have to finish the strike to get rewards? Alright...
-
7 RespuestasIt's about time. This exploit was there back in dark below. They finally patched it. Now the casuals or lazy players have to actually grind like the rest of us.
-
Too many people cried nerf because they couldn't handle others grinding to higher light levels faster than them. Too silly. This community is silly. I could care less if you level up faster. I'll just crush you in the crucible.

2 RespuestasWhile the Omnigul farming was a glitch that probably needed to be addressed, it also served as the main fix to the appallingly terrible leveling progression. The strike playlist is old. We've done those strikes hundreds of times already. We shouldn't have to do them a hundred more times just to get back into the new content. They should have no place in the progression at this point. That also needed to be fixed, and they didn't even acknowledge it.
-
4 RespuestasPeople were circumventing the LL system they have put in place. Omni was basically the noew loot cave. Since Bungie wants players to grind for long hours and see LL gains of 2-3 LL per week, it was only a matter of time before this was shut down
-
1 RespuestaThey should have done it before ROI launched.
-
too bad so many people already abused this system and cheated their levels. i'm glad they fixed it

3 RespuestasEditado por PizzaMan725: 9/29/2016 6:30:23 PMWould have been funnier if they just had the strike end if you kill her at any point.
-
About time
-
Yea it was
-
Oh no! You might have to use a little effort to level up!
-
I think it's funny as shit
-
8 RespuestasI wanted to farm there. Until I didn't even need to. Players just deprive themselves of content with things like this..
-
well it kinda was a big issue. literally people getting raid-ready light level after a couple hours of farming. not good.
-
Considering how long this has been a thing, they Probably had to do little more than flip a switch. They were just waiting until it was a problem.
-
3 RespuestasI'm not too big on farming, however it's all but a standard practice in rpgs. If you want to level up, you would farm enemies in a particular area for exp. If you're looking to get a particular item or weapon, you could farm the bosses or relevant enemies. It's a common practice that some people just view as the most efficient way to play a game. Borderlands, Dark Souls, and even Minecraft are basic examples. Borderlands 2 even seems to encourage boss farming as a majority of bosses spawn each time you enter an area or are spawned during rare combat engagements (like the varkid raid boss that has something like a 0.2% chance of occurring as the "final" growth mutation), and dark souls increases the difficulty and item drop rate of bosses each time you respawn them. The only reason I can see to patch Destiny's farm is to pad out play time because it's too easy to hit the level limit and get the gear you want. So if the item drop and exp leveling systems of these other games can operate in ways that allow or even encourage farming due to scope and potential, it kind of makes you question the limitations and amount of content you have destiny.

17 Respuestashahah its actually WAS a major issue. Its an exploit. It allowed players to get to ridiculous light levels and blow through the raid. They needed to fix it ASAP
-
Erris told us to silence her screams. That was what our fireteam was going to do until Bungie did it for us. Way to go Bungie.
-
Good. It must have been frustrating to see a bunch of lazy "Guardians" cheesing a strike to boost their LL all week.
