Please edit your post and change the hashtag from #Gaming to #Destiny, as in addition to the fact that most people in this subforum don't play Destiny you'll likely encounter a lot of hostility.
For future reference, the Gaming subforum is for topics related to games other than Destiny. Threads that do relate to Destiny belong in the Help, Feedback, Recruitment, and Destiny subforums respectively.
I am sorry for this redirection, I will add a quart of lutefisk, so we have good feelings. :)

Destiny forums is for Destiny. This is the appropriate forum for a game that has not even been released yet, this is the "gaming" forum correct?

It is still part of the Destiny franchise. By that logic, talking about Rise of Iron before its release was fine too.

It clearly specifies "Other [b]Games[/b] than Destiny" They are refering it as a singular, not a franchise Plus RoI is a DLC (Well Expansion)

If a mod tells me otherwise, I'll agree with you, but until then, as far as I'm concerned, a discussion about Destiny 2 is still a discussion about Destiny.

It actually does. Especially when there are 4 subforums (#gaming isn't one of them) that are dedicated to destiny. That crap doesn't need to plague gaming.

Yes there are 4 sub forums for Destiny. But he isn't talking about Destiny he's talking about Destiny 2 which I doubt will even be the name. Also it has been stated talking about Destiny in some cases is allowed in gaming.

Ok let me break it down to a fifth grade level. Destiny 2 is in development which means it is not out yet. Now this game on release might not be called Destiny 2. Or might not be anything like destiny we simply do not know. Now with that being said why would you discuss an unknown game in a forum for a game that has already been established?

It's still part of the franchise. If it said "other than Halo", then it wouldn't just be talking about CE, but all of them.

It doesn't say talk about games other than the Destiny franchise. It species Destiny. He's talking about Destiny 2. This is the appropriate place.

I stand by the example you just responded to. It says "Talk about games other than Destiny, we don't mind.". It doesn't need to specify the word "franchise". It's a given, when talking about games. If it said "Talk about games other than Dark Souls, we don't mind." most people would assume that refers to the Dark Souls franchise, not just Dark Souls I.
