So apparently Destiny 2 will be made for both consoles and PC. I'm not sure if I'm completely indifferent about it or annoyed.
Some of the problems I see with it for us as a community:
- Many of the youtube video, reddit posts, bungie forums, tips, advice... will be invaded by PC users, I fear that us, console players, will be left aside.
- the competitive scene will mostly turned to be PC dominated
- And let's be honest, PC gamers are much less chilled than the actual destiny community. We already have the cry babies calling for nerf all the time, and in destiny 2 we will also have to deal with the PC gamers looking down on us for not being real players, for holding down the progress of the game, they will parade telling how better the game is on PC... etc... etc...
I have to say, I don't really see any positive aspect for us to have destiny 2 being on PC as well... but it's in one year, we have still a lot of time to enjoy the game and I'll go back having fun with my newly acquired Outbreak Prime. Seriously that gun is awesome.

This belongs in #destiny.

Whatever makes offtopic grow makes me happy. I don't care

Editado por LahDsai: 9/30/2016 6:34:41 AMI don't like when I can't play something on my platform of preference, so I say the more the merrier. Why not share with our PC brethren?

13 RespuestasDestiny has 4 subforums dedicated to it. #Gaming is dedicated to discussing games other than the Destiny franchise's games. Your thread is currently about Destiny 2. The proper place for such a thread would be #Destiny. Please edit your thread's tags so that it's in the #Destiny subforum instead of #Gaming.

Good, someone can data mine it for upcoming content.

Maybe for the play anywhere program?

1 RespuestaI'm glad, the PC community is generally less tolerant of bullshit. They'll roast the shit out of this game if it messes up.
-
3 RespuestasThe game has a barely competitive scene as it is. It's an unbalanced mess. Also, the community of any game being on PC as well as consoles shouldn't effect you. If you're playing on a Playstation and don't plan on playing the game on PC, it should matter very little to you how the PC community views the game that you're playing. No need to alienate a whole gaming community.
-
That's great, someone might be able to put the story together....or create one and mod it in 👍😀
-
It's a non issue. Idk why in the world you're even remotely worried about it. And lol this community couldn't possibly get any more toxic.
-
Looking forward to it. Hopefully I can even play it in 3D and/or ultra wide. Definitely will be a plus for me. Not sure why this would upset anyone? Don't like PC community? Don't play on PC. Problem solved. I just hope they make the game, you know, good. Doesn't matter what platform it's on then. But yes, you are correct, the more competitive scene will be on PC if they design the game to be that as well, which personally I hope they don't. Making a competitive game and a game with strong pve focus is basically making two games and it never works out well. Destiny 1 is not a competitive game as is so not sure why it would upset you in the first place.

27 RespuestasPlease edit your post and change the hashtag from #Gaming to #Destiny, as in addition to the fact that most people in this subforum don't play Destiny you'll likely encounter a lot of hostility. For future reference, the Gaming subforum is for topics related to games other than Destiny. Threads that do relate to Destiny belong in the Help, Feedback, Recruitment, and Destiny subforums respectively. I am sorry for this redirection, I will add a quart of lutefisk, so we have good feelings. :)

Bungie pulled a Halo with Destiny where they had a full game, but decided to scrap it and make as much as they could in less than a year. It's also why Halo PC didn't do so good on PC. I think Destiny 2 could be a game that meets PC standards.

2 RespuestasEditado por TalonOfTheRight: 9/29/2016 4:48:07 PMI think bungie can kiss my ass. I wouldnt waste such fine HDD space for such a shit game.

Stay off Reddit. PC fanboys are a cult there.

-
Say what you want about PC gamers, but them graphics tho...
-
As a PC gamer I can tell you that your fears of PC gamers taking over are unfounded. See we have standards and Destiny does not meet those standards. Destiny is a shit game and pC players have no desire to play it.

Could. Not. Care. Less.

Editado por Psyntifik: 9/29/2016 3:53:24 PMSounds like your unfounded grudges against PC players is stopping you from appreciating the fact that a game will be more accessible. As a gamer, aren't you glad something is no longer exclusive? I honestly haven't been able to find a single PC player who is unhappy that console gamers are finally getting Vermintide or XCOM 2. And so what if it's on PC? It's great that you think any kind of serious competitive gaming is done over the internet.
