I've never understood the hatred some guns get versus others. After Thorn's initial buff in year 1 it was a great gun in PVE and PVP. If it's a problem with players only using that gun in PVP they should make other guns that are just as useful. Red death for instance was a great counter to Thorn. Now that we have that Artifact that greatly limits DoT Thorn will no longer have such an impact, but it shouldn't have been that way to begin with. Bungie needs to make more viable weapons, so there isn't a "Meta."
