5 Respuestasit's trash and i predict that hardly anyone will use it you can use y1 thorn in regular pvp and you almost never see it I see a lot of y1 guns in reg pvp, i see thorn maybe 1 or 2 matches a week

For pvp everyone will use the dot remover in crucible. For pve it'll need a buff

3 RespuestasIt has a good rof and still can be a 3 shot kill. I have a feeling that the exotic perk will change a bit when they release it next month. The DoT isn't worthy of being "exotic" anymore so I'm guessing it will change to something else. But then again, they took Hawkmoon from being viable and nerfed it (after they buffed other hc's no less) and it's completely unreliable now - so we can never be so sure when it comes to Bungie logic.

Since in RoI you can negate DoT it's really not a problem.

1 RespuestaI've never understood the hatred some guns get versus others. After Thorn's initial buff in year 1 it was a great gun in PVE and PVP. If it's a problem with players only using that gun in PVP they should make other guns that are just as useful. Red death for instance was a great counter to Thorn. Now that we have that Artifact that greatly limits DoT Thorn will no longer have such an impact, but it shouldn't have been that way to begin with. Bungie needs to make more viable weapons, so there isn't a "Meta."
