Be patient a raid is coming bungie said that before HoW dropped an it will most likely be free we just need to be patient

I believe there will be a raid also, sooner then later. If memory serves me correctly VOG was not original to dick came out has a update later. With the lack of loot to keep players interested in game some things has to give and they know that by now. The PoE of somewhat fun and enjoyable, but with out beating able to beating lvl35 consistently and the lack of decent rewards for time spent, player will leave. I also think that PVP will not last that long either. ToO is good and all but we all know cheating and lagging issues exist. Seems 1 flawless run to light house gave each player a lot, so why return other then bragging rights, which will get old. So, there had to be more coming soon, just to keep game interesting to those who have played the longest

They released the VoG a week or so after launch so people could level up to be able to do it

I would like to believe this were true, but I've become gun shied away from Bungie's empty promises before, to a point where I'll reserve my cautious skepticism.

I think Urks quote at announcement of no raid in HoW was, "one is coming later this year." Comet releases sep 2015...highly doubt it will be free.
