The House of Wolves offered very little in terms of PVE content. It has also broken down large groups of players and party chats into 3 man groups. The raid was what brought the family to the dinner table, not the lackluster rewards of the Prison of Elders or the PVPers paradise on Mercury with the Trials of Osiris.
For a game developer who states Destiny should be as much of a social experience as much as a gameplay experience, while offering zero social hubs and relying on 3rd party matchmaking websites; they have done everything imaginable to break up the larger clans and the community.
While the clans and the community has done everything possible to keep this dying horse alive. ~ Thanks Bungie, good looking out.

Agreed good sir!!

1 RespuestaMan it's almost as if someone said this a month before HoW and everyone claimed he was wrong and that PoE would be great and offer much more replay value. How's that looking now guys?
-
16 RespuestasI don't know after trying PoE it seems to be a lot better than a raid it's just more challenging. Raids are too linear and often not become dead content. PoE is quite challenging because it requires different strategies each week.

2 Respuestas
We need a raid.
Well, you are in luck, my good sir, for we have not 1, but 2 raids! Yes, we have the Vault of Glass and Crota's End! Magnificent, isn't it!
-
I whole-heartedly agree with this. I'd even go so far as to say the smaller group activities are dividing players. We need more large group activities and not PVP ones.

5 RespuestasBe patient a raid is coming bungie said that before HoW dropped an it will most likely be free we just need to be patient

1 RespuestaI hit a rabbit with my car yesterday.

5 RespuestasTrue that. PoE is just a long time consuming horde mode filled with enemies and bosses and buffs that we've all seen before even if they been give a different name or slightly altered. Plus I may add that the level 35 Skolas fight is 100% impossible if your whole team doesn't own gjallahorn. And yes some of us don't haven't regardless of the fact that we've been playing since day one. The loot system bungie gave destiny is shit if you haven't noticed yet.

6 RespuestasI largely disagree. The clan I got into doesn't generally have static raid teams but people pull others together whenever they feel like Raiding. Same goes for PoE But this game seriously needs a LFG system. At the Tower or Reef or at a special location you set up specific criteria of who you want to play with. Lvl, mic, activity, ect. This would allow people in game know who to look for to make these connections. This would allow a firm of more perceive matchmaking.
-
3 RespuestasWhile I can't speak from the 6 man static team perspective I can say as a solo player, this game has become increasingly harder to access. They've some how managed to alienate large groups and solo players.

2 RespuestasPoe in my opinion sucks. I just don't find it fun. Raids are fun.

Bumping for justice.

Also agree. Why form a clan when you can only play with 3 people. It was fun carrying noobs through VoG and CE. But PoE at 35 makes everyone so serious. No laughs. Just exhaustion at some point. Its doable but i like being SOCIAL like the game was before this 3 man party. Oh well. I still run Crota since there isnt a raid.i love whooping his ass!$
-
Those 3rd party sites are called LFG sites, which means "Looking for group". Matchmaking is when you que up and get random people. Just wanted to clear that up.

3 RespuestasThe damage is already done. Once a player starts to think "this game isn't worth it anymore" then the relationship with the game is tarnished. Most of my clan were hard-core raiders.. Now they don't play destiny at all.

2 RespuestasEditado por SaltyJack591: 6/3/2015 2:57:11 PMNo one on my friends list came back for HoW, probably since they were solely raid oriented players. The HoW 3 man event was meant to be more inclusive yet offered no in game system to join either and beyond level 28 in PoE. So the exclusion continues. So other than playing VoG and a little bit of PoE with my clan there is little to do anymore. No one even bothers going into CE anymore. It's just sad that a game I used to spend so much time playing has been reduced to a couple of hours a week and so few people to play with.
