I wouldn't say Call of Duty requires no skill. Just a different skill set than a Halo game. Some killstreaks require considerable effort to obtain and deserve to be unbalanced due to its degree of difficulty. The significance of the Supers are cheapened by the fact that everyone can use it and in a sense, makes this more noob friendly in a way. Can you imagine the crap if everyone can use a AC-130 or a Helo Pilot in CoD when some magic meter fills up? It would totally take the fun out of unleashing hell on a lobby. To me, this is why I find crucible boring as it does not reward skill (even the worst player can get Exotics), so there's zero incentive to play Crucible compared to the Raids, Strikes, Story Missions etc.
