Super in Crucible
I'm wondering what peoples opinions on supers are in crucible. It does have a fun little twist, but it also does add a touch of unbalance. That unbalance really does decrease the amount of "competitive gameplay" crucible has.

2 RespuestasI'd prefer a mode without powers. Keep the existing modes just add another one, more the better. It gives variety and will keep everyone happy.

4 RespuestasSupers are really meant for tactical use/clearing large areas. Most of the rage people have is because people use supers as panic buttons, only to kill one person. However, that same person walks into a control point being captured, and is consequently shot down, because instead of saving the Nova Bomb, Fist of Havoc etc. for a large group, they chose to waste it on a lone opponent. The other team gets a kill and captures the control point because of this.

Call of duty lacks any form of skill and kill streaks are even more unbalanced than supers. Further more most destitards are unaware call of duty has kill streaks that carry through death in 2 games. The Halo days of equal competition are dead my friend we make up .2% of gamers that are still looking for a shooter that will never be made.. That is until I do

I wouldn't mind a variant without supers, but It doesn't matter that much.

Keep supers in, but the timing mechanic feels like it needs some tweaking. I'm not sure how it just seems they're far too abundant. Maybe loosing charge on death or only gaining charge through kills/orbs/objectives would help.

Super Noob - "There's nothing better than that moment, one on one, where you dominate your opponent by wasting an ability that could kill 3-6." I love being killed by Super Noobs. One clip of my Auto Rifle kills more Guardians than your Guardians Super Ability.

See I gave up when I read adra112's comment supers are extremely unbalanced and unpredictable but will never be removed in the "competitive multiplayer" that's what it's called by the way. Here's to hoping we one day get a playlist that's not for the casual cod scrub community that gaming is now

They should leave supers in the normal matches and add a new game mode with no supers maybe less special/heavy ammo and/or increased melee and grenade cooldown.
