Many other games with raids have a group finders. Why not for Destiny? The mission statement of Destiny being a game everyone is suppose to be able to enjoy and play is defied by limited raids and social tools. This is hypocrisy at it finest.
This is hypocrisy at it finest.
Please avoid trying to make statements like this. Bungie did this, same with proximity chat, for the same reasons: problems with gamer habits. Hypocrisy has nothing to do with this. If you want to make sure gamers are happy, you do what the other elements try to do OR you try something new. Complaints for every. single. Halo. game have always revolved around matchmaking pairing people together who shouldn't have been. That is ten years of constant complaints about matchmaking parameters not being good enough for gamer standards and the same is true for many other MMO's. Posting here, or on a forum, for a raid group is just fine as a solution since other gamers clearly don't have an issue with that.

Editado por Lord Tonjin: 8/2/2014 10:45:24 PMMute button works great in every other game. Why doesn't it work for Destiny? Because we don't even have the option to use it. The decision for how chat and social tools work was made for us. That is correct. However if someone is annoying me. I mute them in every other game.
Mute button works great in every other game. Why doesn't it work for Destiny?
It's not enough this time. Why? Destiny is rated T for Teen. Which means a lot of influence CANNOT be present which means community options takes a hit.
The decision for how chat and social tools work was made for us.
Right. And I stated why above. Blame the gamers who can't be mature about their experiences and respect others experiences.
However if someone is annoying me. I mute them in every other game.
How many other rated T games do you play?

With the amount of people that come and go, muting everyone is incredibly tune consuming and sucks you out of immersive experience Bungie ifs attempting to create.
-
Not everyone, only the disruptive people like in every other game.
-
"Disruptive" in a game like Destiny child mean many things. In PvP, chat would be okay, but in the tower or in the PvE world, sometimes I, and other lie myself, just need silence, muting everyone is too tinge consuming.
-
So why do we call this a "social" hub then at the tower? Party chat works great if you need silence.
