First off I'm a fellow vet. Fr what I remember yesterday about this thread you were having issues with keeping your woman happy because of PTSD? You were going to a game to help with that. Step one: Please stop blaming PTSD for ignoring family. Yeah it sucks so badly to the point where it makes us not want to talk. But ou are missing so much out of life by trying to conceal stuff and just play the game. Your relationship won't improve due to that. Step two: find something to do with her that can keep your mind together. Doesn't have to be talking. It can be movies, dates, shopping, other games. Whatever the two of you can enjoy together that doesn't trigger anything bad. Step three: enjoy life. I know it's hard but don't let PTSD get you down. Same thing as depression and all the other hidden ailments that some people on this forum might have. You guys are good people. Don't let something like this nonsense keep you down. Also I've found talking to fellow military vets seems to help. Most places have local VA centers for that reason. Nothing with doctors mind you. I've stepped into one or two just to get things off my chest and help others do the same. Not to mention older vets have advice. What I'm getting at is Try. Not just you but everyone. Try to adjust life to accompany your significant other. There is room enough for two and I'm pretty sure you can put Destiny down for a day and work on relationship issues / everything else. All I can say man is make time for her...I call it special lady day. Tell her you will do whatever she wants for one full day preferably on the weekend. Do this twice a month and you our golden. Thank you for your sevice and I hope you our receiving treatment for your disorder

You where trained to be better, stronger, and tougher.. Your where trained to never hesitate, to always face your fear, and punch it in the mouth.. Why do americans treat their troops as if they are some kind of super heros? they do a job, they get paid. I have yet to read a reply here that ~I would consider reasonable, it all seems like blind patriotism. Why don't I see threads thanking nurses and doctors, teachers etc people that actually better the lives of others, thank them instead of thanking people whose sole purpose is to kill and destroy.

I wish I could have read your topic. From what I can tell there's a lot of hate.. But I'm guessing you were a soldier and something happened?? Whatever it was, I'm sorry you have to put up with it, and I thank you for your service.
