What does it matter that you're in the military? Stop trying to use that excuse to demand respect.
English
-
They shouldn't have to demand respect all vets and military have already earned. now what have you punks done to earn respect?
-
You earn respect. If I choose not to give my respect to them, that's my choice, and they can't do anything to change that. As a doctor, I have probably saved many more lives than any individual soldier has, yet you don't see my trying to demand respect from my patients.
-
You earn respect. I'm sure the military teaches you that. You salute those of higher rank because they have accomplishments. They earned their respect within the organization. Just joining doesn't entitle you to that respect so why should the rest of the world kiss your ass? Earn our respect instead of reflecting poorly on the military. You've got to be an embarrassment to them with the actions you guys take here.

Stfu troll
-
Typical butthurt American. Stop worshiping your military kid, they're just people.
-
They are generally people willing to sacrifice their time and possible lives in service of our country, our constitution, and in fact my liberty and my families. I don't know where you are from. I don't even care. Say whatever floats your troll heart.
-
So? Doctors like myself spend 7 years of our time in Med school to help deadbeats like yourself, and we don't get any recognition. They aren't special.
-
Doc, your recognition comes in the insane amount of money you get paid. You dont often hear about broke doctors, homeless doctors, or doctors suffering from ptsd, bad medical insurance and care and neglect. Then again, you hear every day about the brave men and women who risk their lives in foreign countries, away from their families, for extended periods of time, for SHIT pay/benefits. They leave brave and scared but excited, and return broken and confused only to be abandoned by the very country and people they served. Dont compare yourself to the soldiers sir. At the end of the day, there is no comparison, doctor or not.
-
So what if I get paid more? That's because I worked hard and actually went to med school for 7 years of my life. People say that soldiers save lives. Guess what, they don't. They take them. I do the opposite, so yes, in a way I can be compared to them.
-
If you failed med school, you could pick another profession. A soldier makes a mistake, he/she and possible many more die. So no, no comparison.
-
If I make a mistake, my patients may die. Do you even think before you post?
-
I said if you failed med school. Do you read before you respond?
-
You're not a doctor, gtfo with that shit.
-
Prove it you butthurt little child. Don't say stupid shit like that, it makes you look retarded.
-
How about you prove it since you're the one claiming to be a doctor.
-
I don't care if an idiot on the Internet doesn't believe me. You work at McDonalds, so your opinion are invalid.
-
And you're some fat kid that lives in his mother's basement and has to lie about his life on a gaming forum. You can't prove you're a doctor because surprise surprise, you're not one. If you're going to lie about your life, make it more believable.
-
Dead beat huh? Poor little baby needing validation from strangers on a video game forum. THATS why no one respects YOU, regardless if you're a "doctor". Which I don't believe, and even if you were, after your comment, I wouldn't piss on your head if it were on fire pal.
-
I literally just said that I don't need nor receive validation. Are you illiterate? And how would you know if I'm respected or not? Do you know everything about my life? Don't make stupid assumptions you pathetic little brat.
-
What if it wasn't on fire? Would you piss on his head, then?
-
Hmmmm. Give me a second....
-
He never demanded respect. He was asking for advise and explained his situation. That said, he deserves a lot of respect for what he did.
-
-
Put yourself in his position. Imagine getting deployed and getting shot at and shooting back at people on a regular basis. Imagine fearing for your life every time you go off base in a convoy because you know that you could be blown up by an IED without any provocation. Imagine knowing that the next time you get out of your vehicle, you could be shot by a "civilian" without warning. Now imagine that becoming normal. And then imagine coming back to your regular home life when war is your normal. Imagine constantly being on edge. Expecting attacks that never come. Jumping at loud noises. Feeling conflicted because you don't want to expose your family to what you went through, but also knowing that you're shutting them out. This isn't an excuse. It's how it is. Stop acting as if you are somehow better because you don't have to go through this.

Imagine that all those troops don't need to be there and are invading foreign soil... Oh wait
