Gambit rewards suck
So we are on a 6 game streak which might not seem like a lot to some but I haven’t gotten anything but blues.....REALLY BUNGIE REALLY, I got stuff from bounties but nothing from winning I mean WTF 🤪🤪
EDIT: I also forgot to mention that the loot pool should only be gambit gear, I turned in bounties and all the gear I got was tangled shore armor WTF
EDIT 2: I’m now at 60 matches in the last week without a single legendary or exotic from winning. All from bounties or rank rewards...BUNGIE is trash

It is end of November. Have no idea, how it was before New Light, but newsflash - Gambit reward system still sucks. A LOT. For the mode that takes twice as much time as average Crucible game, Gambit rewards are surprisingly... unrevarding. In the literal meaning - just a constant stream of blue trash and Bad Omens when you rank up.

The best solution is to delete the Tangled Web Armor. Get that ugly scrap out of here.

I mean really the whole loot system needs to be reworked. Pretty much every activity is just a punishing experience. If you get a decent rolled exotic you feel like you absolutely have to use it because you'll never see one again. Hopefully Armor 2.0 helps with that, but if nothing is really dropping I don't think it'll matter much. We'll see....

1 ReplyIn a game with random rolls, generosity is a necessity. That goes double for activities where tokens aren’t available. Plain and simple, Gambit should be constantly rewarding gear from its loot pool, especially with Shadowkeep. PS: That goes double for limited time activities like Iron Banner.

2 RepliesIt doesn't help that only Bygones and Parcel are the only standouts of the OG Gambit weapon set, maybe Trust as well if you have a good roll. Prime has better weapons but man are they hard to come by.

You really expect them to render a big part of that seasons content useless just to appease to the casual audience? Destiny 2 started off catering to the more casual playerbase and they’ve show and stated that the game is heading toward a much more hardcore grind. If things like this bother you I would advise you to find another game to play because it is only going to get worse for players of your ilk. I personally love the direction the game is heading but I must admit that it is not for everyone.

They should take that shitty game mode out. And yes I played Gambit a bunch during seasons of the drifter and a bunch since then and all I get is 90% armor and the rest blue weapons and bad omens. Never once got the new scout, pulse, hand canon. Not even one!

I prefer weapons for both Crucible and Gambit than their ugly armor sets. Ick!

LOL. One of the biggest knocks I have on Gambit is the poor rewards. For a mode that is so long, it just doesn't reward your time. If not for bounties/quests, I wouldn't be playing it much. I like Gambit, overall, but I am burned out on it.

Barrel length, and ammo type are the only things that differentiate real world weapons. But in the idiotic world of "make believe" we gotta have some stupid random crap. To inflate game play time. My fave is how the different weapons of the same category, fire slower, load slower, don't hit as hard lolol give me a break. Nobody can ever justify why this game needs to be our second job, for a select few our main job etc. Destiny for many of us, became our mistress. And she's nuts!!!!
