So I’ve had this issue for a a while now and so far no solution has been found.
I recently got a 75hz Free-Sync monitor and I cannot keep a stable FPS. Always dropping from like 60-75 and it gets worse to like 40-60 in public events!!
I’ve tried everything. Freesync, Enchanced Sync, VSync, Frame Rate Cap, lowering everything to the lowest. And I get FPS drops and crazy stutters when doing any activity.
Lowering the Hz of my monitor does stabilize my fps for the most part but still some heavy drops in mars or Earth during public events or looking at certain areas!
Everything is up to date, all my components are working. I’ve checked for throttling, Memory leak, Temps are at a solid 63-65 like in every other game!! nothing is wrong!!!
Why is it that I can run other heavier games fine at a solid 73-76fps but Destiny 2 goes crazy from 40-75?!!!!
Any help would be appreciated :)

3 RepliesInteresting, my FPS normally plays in the crucible and normal areas around 70-80 with a cap around the 90’s. When I enter more taxing areas it drops to around the low 60’s. I mostly play on the lowest settings minus a couple of important ones. I have a Radeon 4 gb video card with 16gb of ram and a good Intel core I7 processor. The only time I’ve encountered heavy stuttering and frame rate drop is when I try to stream on my pc, and watch it on my 2nd monitor while playing.

1 ReplyI'm experiencing the exact same problem. Everything's loading slowly and things don't load properly, such as UI elements and such. Bungie please help!

10 Repliesrandom question. have you messed with the FOV slider at all? im curious if on your settings that use to be good if you turn down your FOV to like 68-72 what happens? Been doing A LOT of testing and just curios if you can reproduce anything similar to me.
