[BUNGIE] PlayStation Error CE-34878-0

Hello, We are aware of reports that some PlayStation 4 players encountering crashes when attempting to play Destiny 2. This results in [url=https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/get-help/help-library/error-codes/ce-34878-0/]PlayStation Error CE-34787-0[/url]. We are currently investigating with platform partners to identify the cause for this issue. [b]NOTE: [/b]Some players have reported that turning off HDCP settings on their PS4/PS4Pro Console has reduced the frequency in which this issue occurs.   • The latest PS update made things worse for me. I usually only saw the error once every 2-3 days. I saw it 3 times this afternoon.

  • No crash since System Update 4.74 for me. Hope really this fixed the problem. Still no comment from Bungie or Sony! Shame!

Wow, great PR you've got going on over there Bungie 👍🏻 This tweet you just posted? You guys have a lot of balls, let me tell you. I'm honestly STUNNED that you would post this, knowing what issues you currently have. We've all been patient long enough. This is total BS. Now that you've made your 75 million, you could really give two shits about the % of us that have issues. I used to have so much respect for you guys back when you made Halo, now you're just comparable to EA. I guess that's what happens when you team up with Activision. Also, whether it's software or hardware? At this point I don't give a sh**, f*** both of you. I'll get more enjoyment out of your game by playing frisbee with the disc instead of actually playing it at this point. Thanks for the slap in the face, you can keep the $120.00. Consider it a donation to get your sh** together next time around.

      • Seriously, I never ever got so many bugs, I can't play and I've paid for Destiny 2 Deluxe. You should NOT launch a game freezing like that, it's a shame seriously! How that's professional? I'm a big fan of Destiny, I have 2 tattoos of Destiny and now this? seriously!!!! BTW, looks like you are not that concerned because I can barely find information about it on the internet apart of "we are investigating it" but you knew about this problem since the beta version because I could not play as well because of the same bug and even like that you launch it!

          Well this will be my last post for now. I've been since tuesday 12 pm here in this forum trying with so many others patient and kind people to get even taken serious by you and your support. After helping out for 5 days now, trying all the troubleshooting possible, speaking to people in other forums etc i can almost say i did more support for you than you have done since release. You guys are trying to sweep this under the carpet and sit this out. Well i will send my ps4pro in and if possible when sent back play the hell out of the game to get at least the gaming experience i have paid [u][b]110 bugs[/b][/u] for and after i'm done i will never ever support this company in any further halo, destiny 3,4 or what not. Simple as that. I just hope you guys don't ruin blizzards good reputation by entering their launcher and behaving like this to the pc community. Good luck with that. And as soon as Anthem arrives your game will be long forgotten by me. Thanks guys for this mega awesome release. You have even topped ubisoft this week with your behaviour and that is a pretty high bar. Wow. Keep it up.

          • This is pathetic Bungie (you should change your company name to bungle). Try to sweep this under the carpet all you like but your reputation will be damaged either way. People need to be fired over this. I have probably done more problem solving than Bungie and Sony combined yet no fix. If people are sending in their PS4s for repair when this is only a software problem then shame on you. Why keep people in the dark on this? I'm interested to know just how many people this is affecting.

          • This is becoming incredibly unprofessional. I have tried to be as patient as possible. I don't understand what you and Sony are doing. If you can't fix the issue you need to communicate this to your customers so we can figure out what we are going to do. We are not even sure if this is a Sony hardware/software issue or a Bungie Software issue. The fact that you have known about this since Beta and have not addressed this points to the fact that you either 1. Don't know how to fix it. 2. Know that is not a game software issue but a Playstation Pro issue with Sony. This is unfair to your customer base and will not breed good will towards either you or Sony for future purchases. If you are trying to push people away from your games or from Sony purchases you are doing a great job. Incredibly disappointed as a customer and a fan.

            • guys if i may say so ..ive had same freeze crash problem on ps4pro and was also infuriated tbh i think this is a mix between 2 issues 1. some ps4pro chips have appearently been produced that are not up to quality standards (run most games just fine ..until they simply dont as in our case) 2. D2 somehow manages to push the chips to the point where they actually crash due to in 1. mentioned issue in quality why i am saying this ? as ive said i had same problem and since i realized ..hey its possible this is really hardware related ..but if i send my ps4pro now ..i will not get it back before at least 3-4 weeks ...of course WITHOUT replacement (YAY?!) and i even heard stories where people sent stuff there ..and it just came back same as before (sony trolling people?) so well i figured ok ..since appearently BUNGIE is not doing much about this since months (beta) ..its very well possible they just received some gag-order from sony (yes companies do stuff like that) to not mention this is hardware related ..so people dont go crazy at sony over quality [b]anyhow i decided to go and buy a new ps4pro destiny bundle while making clear agreement with sales place that IF i wipe it ...and dont actually open the included game ...i can bring the ps4pro back in same day and get another one to swap it for (figured i can do this often enough until i actually hit one ps4pro that eventually works proper) ...if its you know not working once again with Destiny 2 (will send old ps4pro for repair in meanwhile and sell it once it comes back..so not that crazy a plan after all + will sell the unopened game too) [u]result? YES It was the damn hardware : been playing easy 30+ hrs since then and not 1 single crash! before it was freezing randomly like for all of you guys ...also freezingi in the infamous tomb raider [/u]demo[/b]

              • 7 days have elapsed since the release of the game and you still have not done anything to solve this issue. we all spent money on your game and you not only do not do anything but do not let us know any notices !!! Sono veramente molto incazzato e insoddisfatto mi recherò all'associazione dei consumatori per sporgere reclamo e chiedere a voi dalle vostre tasche 70 euro! Siete degli incompetenti perché conoscevate questo problema dalla beta e non avete fatto nulla, io ci scommetto cosa voglio non si troverà mai una soluzione perché o voi o Sony siete dei bugiardi che vendono cose non finite o gia rotte!
